View Full Version : I've been experimenting with photoshop
And I came up with this
http://abs.gprime.net/pink_floyd_copy.png
I've only had it for a couple of hours so I just wanted to get some feedback.
And if anyone has some good begginer tutorials that would be cool.
And I'm only looking for responses by voodoo, bagel head, oneoftheherd, frookie, or other people who use photoshop.
Edit: I made a second one

I like it mostly.. It's a little boring though.. If you need help PM me, I know how to do most of the stuff.

Yeah apart from the stuff you don't how to do. :harhar:
Thanks, do you have any useful tutorials?
Alex de Large 05-04-2006, 03:17 PM tutorials are good for beginners, i agree, but don't get hooked on them.
photoshop is about creativity :)

Frookie 05-04-2006, 05:55 PM yup, it's about experimenting with what you want to try out and when you get enough of a background in it, you can throw multiple tutorial skills at a photoshop piece and make it kick ***

needs a 1 px border...
and some creativity.
Heyyou27 05-05-2006, 07:36 PM and some creativity.
That's what it's lacking the most.

Talent* I really shouldn't be talking
Alex de Large 05-06-2006, 06:11 AM Talent*
agree
MrNaPaLm32 05-06-2006, 07:55 PM Problem is...If you all think your insulting me. It isnt mine.
Alex de Large 05-06-2006, 08:18 PM there was nothing personal about it.
i guess you made your own sig though?
so yeah, stop following tutorials and throwing in about a million filters
and straight-edged text is aweful with anti-aliasing
MrNaPaLm32 05-07-2006, 06:32 PM if your talking to me. I dont use totorials. Just because someone is as good, if not better than you are. It doesnt mean they use tutorials. My sig is so incredibly easy to make, you would **** yourself that you didnt think of it before.
PS: start quoting stuff. I dont know who the hell your talking to.
Alex de Large 05-07-2006, 06:58 PM Just because someone is as good, if not better than you are.
i said before, it's not personal.
i'm not going to say weather i'm better or not than anyone, other than frookie (at the moment :D).
and believe me. it looks like you made it using a tutorial. i swear to god that i've seen the wire tutorial about 3 years ago back when i was first learning. as for the background, it's good. i admit, but i needs toning down a little.
anyway. nobody ever built a statue for a critic, and if you think your stuff is good, then that's fine, and i don't know how good you are with photoshop at all, so i wont make any judgements about your skill, so don't make any about mine.
MrNaPaLm32 05-07-2006, 07:03 PM I didnt say you sucked either. The ship photoshop you did for the competition was impressive. The wire ive used in about 3 of my signatures. Starting with my very first one.
Alright then. A truce it is then?
Alex de Large 05-08-2006, 02:22 AM oui.
sorry for any offence i've called.
