Well, there is X and sort of X-2.. but Final Fantasy XII isn't online. As for XIII, no news of it has even come out...

You don't have to worry, traditional single player RPGs won't die out in a long long time, it's just you might not see as much as you did see before.

yah the newest final fantasy game is going to be offline.

I read an article on FFXII a few days ago. Turns out that it isn't a traditional RPG. It is single player, but it uses the same battle system seen in FFXI, which is an MMORPG. It looks like you control a single character, and influence your NPC allies; I'm not positive on this though.

Awesome, from the review I read it sounded like it was going to be online.
