This monday, my school is installing a program that will lock your computer if you go onto a site which is not approved by the principal (ie: gmail, hotmail, webmessenger...).
Is there a way around it? My school has been known for finding programs that are all but impossible to bypass or re-write (ie: a money program that takes 10 cents out of your account every time you print), and I believe that this will be another one, but it's still worth asking.
Thanks in advance,
- Kent.

1.) stupid idea.
If you're un-aware of the websites content, they shouldn't "Lock" the computer down.

I know it's a ****ty idea but apparently our school "really needs it".
Doesn't really matter any more as I found out the program is so crap you can just find it and shut it down.
Unless of course they upgrade from the free version (did I mention my school's really cheap? Half the programs we use in tech are either "borrowed" or the trial/free versions), in which case it might become harder.
Another way is to unplug the computer. But hey, that might have "undesireable" effects on the computer. Then again, I don't give a **** because it's not even my computer!
Thanks anyways, guys!
PS: KimPossible is a stupid show.

You're right, but you can try to bring a list of proxy IPs you get from home or somewhere else for your own use at school.
