look, this is what happes. i type something in. the second i do, it has a line of little lines around it. then, it is selectable, but the selectable button is not pressed. also, it sometimes has a blue frame around it. please help!

do you mean in the final exported version or while editing? If it is while editing you are getting worked up over NOTHING

Press ctrl+B on that text box and all those borders should go away, but like Panda says your getting worked up about nothing.
