you have failed, because what you were attempting was to fail, and so you succeeded in failing. Although you have succeeded, your initial goal was to fail, and since you've done it, you have failed. But then again, that's like planning on being spontaneous. You can't plan on doing so, because planning to be spontaneous would kill the purpose of being spontaneous. This is just another, once clever, "chicken and the egg" problem
