View Full Version : If you try to fail and you succeed. Junk_Train 02-28-2006, 10:02 AM Which have you done? diet poop 02-28-2006, 10:20 AM you have messed up. EDIT: actually, you have failed, because you have not reached your attempted goal of not winning/succeeding whatever it was. Junk_Train 02-28-2006, 10:39 AM But if you tryed to fail what did you do then? diet poop 02-28-2006, 10:46 AM i just said Junk_Train 02-28-2006, 11:00 AM But, you tryed to fail and you succeeded. klamer 02-28-2006, 11:25 AM you have failed, because what you were attempting was to fail, and so you succeeded in failing. Although you have succeeded, your initial goal was to fail, and since you've done it, you have failed. But then again, that's like planning on being spontaneous. You can't plan on doing so, because planning to be spontaneous would kill the purpose of being spontaneous. This is just another, once clever, "chicken and the egg" problem Junk_Train 02-28-2006, 11:32 AM Einstien would just point to relativity. diet poop 02-28-2006, 12:20 PM But, you tryed to fail and you succeeded. you have messed up. EDIT: actually, you have failed, because you have not reached your attempted goal of not winning/succeeding whatever it was. Your goal was to NOT succeed, so in actually succceeding, you have failed.
