makes me wonder how hard those boards are, i have broken many many boards because i am a black belt in taekwondo but i dont know the one with the finger tips.... that looks impossible and unpracticle, but w/e

to answer all your questions the one who broke the board with the finger tips is me (bluedragon). and the other is my brother (the winner of the bendoff on gprime). the boards are medium oak from a home depot near us. and i study kung fu, tai chi, taekwondo, and more so breaking with you fingertips is easier if you do more than one fighting style. and to get you fingers strong enough to do that it takes 3 years and maybe some broken fingers. Dont try this unless you are supervised by a master in tai chi. :swords: :shuriken: :death1:

and i have been training in tai chi for 5 years,
kung fu 2 years, and in taekwondo about 6 months, the others are just hobbys ( unless you count weapons as an art)

i dont think street fighting is a martial art.

well technicaly its not but i bet a good street fighter could kick the crap out of half you martal artists the reson is theres no special fighting stance or certain move its knock out or be knocked out so there you are street fighting is the best

I personally don't see tae kwon do as a martial art as nowadays it's so much more competitive and done with all the masks and pads and other equipment which i think has restricted the connection to its roots and not the same as it is learned in Korea. I do Ju Jitsu myself which is made up of Karate, Judo and Aikido which i think is very good because you are able to punch, kick, throw, choke and manipulate people's momentum and pressure points to your advantage.
What we saw on the clip was a form of Tai Chi. Most people see Tai Chi as the relaxation martial art as people do use it to relieve stress. However the real reason why they do that is to focus their inner chi and force all their strength into one point in their body, making the fingers as powerful as any other part of the body.
I thought it was a good thing to watch but it got a little boring as you just kept walking into shot and then walking towards the cam again and again and again.
Other than that i found it quite entertaining.

i have to agree with Benyboy2004, in some parts you can see the line made in the board so i can tell exactly where it was going to brake. lame
