TexGasm 03-26-2005, 08:43 AM I can do the one when he uses his head :D. diet poop 03-26-2005, 09:04 AM ive broken many boards using those techniques, i cant do the one where he breaks it with just the tip of his fingers though :tongue_sm Freakazoid 03-26-2005, 08:55 PM Thats cool! treefalse 03-26-2005, 09:09 PM I can do that. Gus 03-26-2005, 09:24 PM Whos who in the vid? or it isnt anyone from Gprime. john 03-27-2005, 11:25 AM Hey, I'm impressed. How long have you two been training? Crazy Hamster411 03-27-2005, 03:04 PM makes me wonder how hard those boards are, i have broken many many boards because i am a black belt in taekwondo but i dont know the one with the finger tips.... that looks impossible and unpracticle, but w/e bluedragon 03-28-2005, 03:23 PM to answer all your questions the one who broke the board with the finger tips is me (bluedragon). and the other is my brother (the winner of the bendoff on gprime). the boards are medium oak from a home depot near us. and i study kung fu, tai chi, taekwondo, and more so breaking with you fingertips is easier if you do more than one fighting style. and to get you fingers strong enough to do that it takes 3 years and maybe some broken fingers. Dont try this unless you are supervised by a master in tai chi. :swords: :shuriken: :death1: and i have been training in tai chi for 5 years, kung fu 2 years, and in taekwondo about 6 months, the others are just hobbys ( unless you count weapons as an art) Antinazi 03-29-2005, 05:32 PM that is cool as hell! HEY if any of you guys can do martial arts why dont we do a thing like the bend-off! you know to see who is best! :starwars: :swords: :ninja_hid diet poop 03-29-2005, 05:54 PM im not very good, i just know tang su do, im not gettting involved in anything like the bend off for a while :vomit1: rahx 03-29-2005, 06:14 PM All the martial artists should just meet in one place and fight it out then. I'll be there! diet poop 03-29-2005, 06:20 PM id eithe have the crap beaten out of me or kill everyone with a machettae heehee! :dev: bluedragon 03-29-2005, 07:08 PM if we do do the martial arts thing, why dont we do it like we did the bendoff. everybody send in a video in and have people vote on it. :mf_turban bluedragon 03-30-2005, 06:53 AM i dont think street fighting is a martial art. bluedragon 03-31-2005, 11:31 AM well guys are we going to do this this or what? PeterCoffin 03-31-2005, 05:34 PM ** Deleted by Moderator ** My favorite is Alpha 3. Mightyspot 04-24-2005, 01:31 PM what kind of Tai chi do you do? cause that doesnt look like tai chi to me... more like one of the other martial arts you do Benyboy2004 05-07-2005, 08:00 AM that actualy ****e the boards are clearly like half an inch thick and common look at the wew guy hes a fat ****e he couldnt batter anyone if he tried haha pathetic bowman69 07-31-2005, 04:51 PM i dont think street fighting is a martial art. well technicaly its not but i bet a good street fighter could kick the crap out of half you martal artists the reson is theres no special fighting stance or certain move its knock out or be knocked out so there you are street fighting is the best Dan the Ninja Pirate 08-01-2005, 08:09 AM I personally don't see tae kwon do as a martial art as nowadays it's so much more competitive and done with all the masks and pads and other equipment which i think has restricted the connection to its roots and not the same as it is learned in Korea. I do Ju Jitsu myself which is made up of Karate, Judo and Aikido which i think is very good because you are able to punch, kick, throw, choke and manipulate people's momentum and pressure points to your advantage. What we saw on the clip was a form of Tai Chi. Most people see Tai Chi as the relaxation martial art as people do use it to relieve stress. However the real reason why they do that is to focus their inner chi and force all their strength into one point in their body, making the fingers as powerful as any other part of the body. I thought it was a good thing to watch but it got a little boring as you just kept walking into shot and then walking towards the cam again and again and again. Other than that i found it quite entertaining. chi4life 10-28-2005, 09:06 PM hey guys, where can i find videos and stuff on the site? seeps33 10-28-2005, 09:51 PM i have to agree with Benyboy2004, in some parts you can see the line made in the board so i can tell exactly where it was going to brake. lame Bosman310 10-31-2005, 09:33 AM if i remember correctly u already posted this a olong while back because ive already seen it |
