the search page used to use google to search for things, but yesterday i caught an article on slashdot about ajax and i decided to try it out. so the search page got a little re-worked.

it's a bit buggy in firefox ("%" doesnt count as a key press for some reason, and if you type too fast it doesn't register either (something to do with having multiple keys pressed at the same time or something..?)) but it should work fine in IE.

give it a whirl, and report any bugs (and include which browser you're using).

suggestions also welcomed.

EDIT: for now although it's a bit broke in firefox, it will still work if you type slow (no multiple keys). to search for everything, type % and then check one of the checkboxes.

I use Firefox 1.07 and I really like the new search thing! I haven't found a bug yet...and probably won't ever. What I want to see happen is to have a little thumbnail picture preview of everthing. Then I would have a better idea if it is worth viewing.

P.S. Thanks for the better search
