Ok, so I'm trying to get this done by the 14th for someone and its coming along ok, I still need to give this guy a head and make the other person, but other than that I think if I work frantically enough I will be able to finish it.

That guy looks pretty funny without a head- maybe it could be about headless romance? I think butt-chin + cheesy smile are needed. But potato man/salad fingers look could be good.

Some tips that MIGHT be useful... I dunno...

Tip: When going to all the effort to make a valentine flash for that special "someone" try not to make it all luvvy duvvy smootchie- because it might be sweet, but after that it doesn't really have any replay value for anyone but her. If you make it funny and entertaining then you not only have a cool interesting valentine flash it can be used for other things too- like a "wanna see a cool flash movie I made?" situation.

Well, something like that. Nothing makes a valentine more interesting than variety. I saw some of the valentines flashes on albino blacksheep last year... throwing up material

Tip 2: Only mention someone's name RIIIIGHT at the very end so if your lazy you can recycle the movie and just change the name at the end whenever you have a new girlfriend and its valentines day.

^Ignore tips if I am clearly misinformed and this isn't some kind of valentines flash for the special "someone"

EDIT: I forgot completely to give my opinion of it- judging it's purpose, the hearts and other imagery is pretty well done. Also you have four days to finish it- so it might have to be a rushed effort :0

oh, about it being lovey dovy dmoochie, dont worrie, its not. It kinda started out that way, but I realized it wasnt really my style, so dont be supprised at how much of a slightly dark tim burton look it takes on. I just thought it would be funny to have the background completely contrast the shadowy looking foreground, characters and action thats going on. Also, this movie is realy just dedicated to that person, it doesnt realy have that much to do with me or tammy at all, i thought it might be nice to make her a movie as I cant realy afford all that much right now. (plus it gives me a reason to actually finish something and do it well)

sorry but no, Its actually going to be sort of a good likeness of me, black hair, mostly covering the face. Probably the thing it would be closest to would be the salad fingers look, like a character from that universe might look.

Plus the first few seconds of it dont realy give a good idea of what its going to look like, i was just trying to let you guys know about it and ask if anyone might help me with the head, i'll post a picture of my character sketch and see if anyone will design if in flash for me.

All I can say is niiiiice. I guess I had nothing to worry about then :) Sounds like a valentine flash everyone will enjoy, especially Tammy (Hope she's not reading this forum right now)

Updated the video again, just so yo8u guys know, this is right before the part where the girl comes in, the guy starts rambling, and his head just sort of slides off onto the ground, his body sort of runs away with the head lying on the ground still rambling, and the girl passes out, then the next little scene happens.

BOOM! Just finished making the girls dress, now i gotta add her arms, legs and head.

Heehee- lots of gore and stuff now. I don't think you should change anything you've done so far :) but I have to say I laughed a lot when I saw the characters- you 've made a square, rigid body with a round detailed head which looks quite comical. And I really have to say that the boobs looked WAY out of place- poor tammy woudn't be able to see in front of her with those things. But keep it all that way don't listen to me- it makes it more all more comical (Ive used the word comical twice, but I can't think of a clever synonym for it. I suck).

yea, i'm no good at drawing boobs, i tried to fix em before but they looked even worse, like goo boobs. :D
