Hi, I was wondering what computer is the best out there right now under 1000 bucks? I'm just on a budget right now. Or is it just better to build the computer yourself other than buying it all built? I would be using the computer for editing pictures(photoshop), typing essays, and etc. I wont really be playing that much games on it too.

You should join tomshardware forum for this sort of thing.
Are you going to use your PC for gaming at all?

Not all the time, Dells are actually not bad. It's just not as good as computers built by hand. But the good thing about Dells is that they are reliable and they have pretty good deals when you buy them.

Dude, your getting third degree burns!!

Looks like Dell’s battery recall is worse than we originally thought. They’re recalling 35,000 batteries for Inspiron, XPS, and Latitude models. The batteries haven’t caused any injuries—yet—but they could burst into flame and void your warranty… and we all know how sucky it is to stay on hold for four hours while Dell tech support gives you the runaround and your laptop melts into your slacks.

Users who may need a new battery are those using Dell Latitude models D410, D505, D510, D600, D610, D800, and D810; Inspiron models 510M, 600M, 6000, 8600, 9200, and 9300; the XPS Generation 2 notebook; and Precision M20 and M70 mobile workstations. The batteries were also sold separately and provided as part of service replacements, Dell said.
