I am an Insomniac, as some of you who live halfway across the globe for whom it is like, 8:00 may have noticed. I need sleep tonight, well, no more than any other night, but I realy wanna sleep tonight, for the people who are on...got any tips? Please?

i did some searching, and then I remembered that reading about lucid dreaming and doing lucid dreaming techniques often helps me to get to sleep, and I have lucid dreams, so Im killing 2 birds with one stone. If you are interested in the material it is here. http://brain.web-us.com/lucid/luciddreamingFAQ.htm Some of the techniques are kind of stupid (like the making yourself realy hungry) but alot of them actually work! (like reality checks and stuff) See you in my dreams!

Take Nyquil...or chloroform...or morphine.

does chloraform have any side effects, because it would make a great tazer

"GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY!!"

"ok, let me get my wallet"

*shoves wallet (and chloroform) into face*

*THUNK*

EDIT it does have side effect

"It is no longer used for several reasons: 1) it's toxic to the lungs and very irritating to the skin and respiratory tract lining 2) it's carcinogenic 3) we've got a lot better anesthetic agents now that are not so irritating and not carcinogenic."

No...don't believe "professionals" who diss chloroform, the only side effect is that after you use it--you need to get more!

P.S. Chloroform is much better than Ether and with less harmful effects.

WOOT! I got a good nights sleep for the first time in like 12 days! (If you don't consider the fact that I didn't actually get to sleep till like 3:30 AM)

why? does it have to do with lucid dreaming? or is it because it's boring? I find lucid dreaming and lucid dreaming techniques facinating.,

You don't even know what real science is. You're still in the "If you mix baking soda and vinegar together, you'll get a BIG surprise!" stage. Have fun when you get to physics, biology etc.

Diet Poop: Make an appointment to see your family doctor. Maybe he can prescribe something for you.

My Doctor finally prescribed something for me that acts as a sleep agent, muscle relaxer and antidepressant. It's great.

naw, i don't need a damn doctor telling me about my sleep habits. I'll just accept the fact that I am a natural night owl.

You know, I've actually talked to kids 11 and 12 that are more mature than most teenagers (15-16).

Captain Creepy

Also, most teen agers become night owls. Sleepy all day, party all night.
I did the same thing. Now I wish I had diciplined myself to go to bed at a decent hour. Dragging your ass around all day just isn't worth it.

I did the same thing. I would go to bed at 7 or 7:30 or 8 and lay awake until 1 or 2 am. Sounds like anxiety to me.

Do you have a gun? (don't answer that.) Anyway, there's a guy I work with who goes out to a fire-ing range to practice. I gave him a waffle iron that I ruined to shoot at. He said, "That waffle iron was great. It flew up in the air and fluttered down like a injured bird." Maybe you should shoot small appliances instead of birds.

Or you can just shoot yourself in the head and sure enough everything will go black :) telle me how it works out.(side effects may include death death or...almost death then bleed to death) :):):)

If you ever want to sleep, usually warm milk does the job.
