the sega genesis was awesome. Abetter anology would be xbox360 into the sega dreamcast. I'm predicting that it might, but then again Microsoft has alot of trigger happy fans. Also if the revolution goes out seeling for 150 like they say it will, its gonna outsell the competition easy, unless they make their games ungodly expensive.

well its basic really, chances are that becuase they are selling their system so cheap, it will sell very easily. Though I must admit after putting more thought into it, they wouldnt be on top. I must admit that though they would sell well due to the low price, this means that they will merely survive another next gen war.

The true competition is between sony and microsoft. The 360 I only see a few problems, that being its early release, so far things look pretty good, but I'm skeptical. On the other hand sony could do very well OR it could do very bad, depending on the game line-up they present.

I suppose the reason I say nintendo on top is because they are guranteed not to flop. Where the other two are kinda on the line. And Terrel rather than be so arrogant with your statements you could have provided a counterpoint to better illustrate your point. Like I said though it was a hasty statement.

Well for those of us who have actually played the 360, here's the rundown.
The system is basically pretty pathetic. Over hyped system specs, very large power brick, noisy CD drive and fan system, very limited and poor game selection, system instability, connection problems with Xbox live.

I myself know a few dozen people who will be getting the revolution ONLY for the fact that it is so cheap and they won't be able to afford the other next gen systems. The price differential of previous consoles was quite a bit less pronounced.

Actually the PS3's price is expected to be 100-200$ more than the 360. Price doesnt effect sales because I could package my **** in a box for 50$ and just because its the cheapest, you arnt going to buy it to play Crap Invaders 3000.
