...sucks. Here I am wanting to purchase some new Jethro Tull and they say "Hell no, they don't exist!" Meanwhile I'm sitting here with my 73 song Jethro Tull library saying otherwise. Same with The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, AC-DC. Get your act together before I smack you iTunes....

I hate apple, for the ipod and itunes.

Hey let's make a really crappy music player, market it well and require our custom music format to play on it!

Why did you change opinions? What reasons make it so good?

ipod's are a lot easier to function with, they have the largest capacities, and itunes can be a very nice program to work with. why not is my question to you?

they dont have the largest capacities. and they're also the most expensive.

Now, why would you waste money on things that you can get completely free, with no consequence at all?
Well...maybe a little consequence...

for their size they are, and like i said, they are the most user friendly.

I like the ipod design, but they're at the point where having an ipod automatically puts you into a group that I don't want to join.
Next we will make sure every ipod owner joins myspace.com so they can write all of the uneventful things they did that day.

they're small because they use flash memory. flash memory = 7 times more expensive per gigabyte that a normal hard drive.

The artist has to allow itunes to sell their C.Ds. If you don't understand how something works, then don't get pissed off at it.

I myself love iTunes. According to iTunes I have:

346 songs
1 day (length of music put together)
1.38 GB's

My computer upstairs: Different story. I think I have 6 days worth of music.

weird, i have a 1:10:01:01 on my time. what does that mean in binary? but most of those files are missing because i just delet all the music dl to put on my ipod on this computer, since it's directly plugged into the modem. my computer in my room has 160 gigs (including the external hd) and is just a storage for all my music and movies. the wireless connection is pretty ****ty.

Are you sure? There's no way there's 30GB of flash memory in an ipod....is there?

That is still awesome for such a small HDD.

yeah. its a new technology. instead of lining up the magnetic sectores horizontally, its vertically. therefore quadrupoling the storage capacity.

It seems so simple! I wonder why they didn't think of that before.
