NartFOpc 01-15-2006, 03:38 PM ...sucks. Here I am wanting to purchase some new Jethro Tull and they say "Hell no, they don't exist!" Meanwhile I'm sitting here with my 73 song Jethro Tull library saying otherwise. Same with The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, AC-DC. Get your act together before I smack you iTunes....
MrNaPaLm32 01-15-2006, 05:33 PM YES!!!!! someone who dislike itunes with me! its a miracle!
Heyyou27 01-15-2006, 05:36 PM I hate apple, for the ipod and itunes.
Hey let's make a really crappy music player, market it well and require our custom music format to play on it!
MrNaPaLm32 01-15-2006, 05:39 PM yes! i hate the iPod too! I'm not alone in this world!!
Boong 01-15-2006, 06:36 PM I dont have to use iTunes...*cough*
no knife 01-15-2006, 07:15 PM i used to be pretty anti apple, when all i had was my iRiver and winamp, but the ipod video really changed my opinion. plus, who buys music anyways*.
*avoid wasting your time by answering that, there's no question mark.
uber_jedi 01-15-2006, 07:27 PM Why did you change opinions? What reasons make it so good?
no knife 01-15-2006, 08:03 PM ipod's are a lot easier to function with, they have the largest capacities, and itunes can be a very nice program to work with. why not is my question to you?

they dont have the largest capacities. and they're also the most expensive.
Ryu-Nacho 01-15-2006, 09:00 PM Now, why would you waste money on things that you can get completely free, with no consequence at all?
Well...maybe a little consequence...
no knife 01-15-2006, 09:09 PM they dont have the largest capacities. and they're also the most expensive.
for their size they are, and like i said, they are the most user friendly.
Heyyou27 01-15-2006, 09:40 PM I like the ipod design, but they're at the point where having an ipod automatically puts you into a group that I don't want to join.
Next we will make sure every ipod owner joins myspace.com so they can write all of the uneventful things they did that day.

creepy, i have an ipod, and a myspace! what else would i have being an ipod owner.
Heyyou27 01-15-2006, 09:53 PM creepy, i have an ipod, and a myspace! what else would i have being an ipod owner.
No idea.
MrNaPaLm32 01-15-2006, 10:02 PM they're small because they use flash memory. flash memory = 7 times more expensive per gigabyte that a normal hard drive.

The Nano's use flash memory.*

The artist has to allow itunes to sell their C.Ds. If you don't understand how something works, then don't get pissed off at it.
I myself love iTunes. According to iTunes I have:
346 songs
1 day (length of music put together)
1.38 GB's
My computer upstairs: Different story. I think I have 6 days worth of music.
murderbydeath 01-16-2006, 02:04 AM weird, i have a 1:10:01:01 on my time. what does that mean in binary? but most of those files are missing because i just delet all the music dl to put on my ipod on this computer, since it's directly plugged into the modem. my computer in my room has 160 gigs (including the external hd) and is just a storage for all my music and movies. the wireless connection is pretty ****ty.
MrNaPaLm32 01-16-2006, 02:10 AM all Ipods use flash memory now.
Heyyou27 01-16-2006, 08:00 AM all Ipods use flash memory now.
Are you sure? There's no way there's 30GB of flash memory in an ipod....is there?
Boong 01-16-2006, 11:02 AM who knows...with technology today
MrNaPaLm32 01-16-2006, 01:17 PM its possible. they just took 30 gig sticks and shoved them up an Ipods ass. 60 if you get the expensive one. how else are they so thin?

uber_jedi 01-16-2006, 01:36 PM That picture is awesome.
MrNaPaLm32 01-16-2006, 02:53 PM it is, but unfortunatly, its not 30 gigs...
Heyyou27 01-16-2006, 03:22 PM it is, but unfortunatly, its not 30 gigs...
No, it's 4. But it is smaller than the ipod. ;)
uber_jedi 01-16-2006, 04:21 PM That is still awesome for such a small HDD.
MrNaPaLm32 01-16-2006, 05:47 PM yeah. its a new technology. instead of lining up the magnetic sectores horizontally, its vertically. therefore quadrupoling the storage capacity.
uber_jedi 01-16-2006, 06:52 PM It seems so simple! I wonder why they didn't think of that before.
