Too bad you're wrong. My friend has a Pentium 4 670 which he overclocks to 5.2GHz and it blows the FX-57 out of the water in every benchmark he's done. His DDR2 is at 1050MHz. Oh and Vapo Chill is better than water cooling.

Oh and the 7800 GTX 512 beats the 7800 GTX by a lot, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you meant the 512. ;)

That's foolish. Every other PC I own is an Intel. To be honest, nearly all Intel processors are just as good as the AMD competition. I own a Northwood Pentium 4 Hyper threading that's a 3.6GHz and it can still play any game you throw at it and it's about a year and a half old.

Thats Prescott,not Northwood.And here is a rule of thumb:If you want low end prosessors,choose Intel,for high end,AMD.

I agree with this.
I think that bot are just as good as each other because each has it's own downside and upside.
Intel is good for heavy multi-tasking and also server running, so if you're playing a game and you want to alt-tab out for something then this is a good processor, however not best for gaming.
AMD however, great for gaming pretty and I mean real great, just that it's not so good on the multi-task. So if you're a focused gamer then you get AMD.
