MrNaPaLm32 12-05-2005, 10:27 AM they're awesome computers, but then again they charge too much for them. buy something off www.ibuypower.com its a hell of a lot cheaper and you get cool cases and whatnot. problem is you have to know your computer lingo to shop there. know what the diffrence is between PCI, PCI-E, AGP etc. go with a PCI-Express For Performance. Heyyou27 12-05-2005, 03:07 PM Or build your own. foulplay 12-05-2005, 03:16 PM newegg.com ^^ all you need. Adoyt 12-24-2005, 02:21 PM There's a good site that will build your computer and test it for you if you want...you can customize it also with what you need. or if you feel that you dont make mistakes ever, they will send you a barebones kit. it's awesome...and that's where i got my new computer from...the website is www.unitedmicro.com MrNaPaLm32 12-28-2005, 11:12 AM There's a good site that will build your computer and test it for you if you want...you can customize it also with what you need. or if you feel that you dont make mistakes ever, they will send you a barebones kit. it's awesome...and that's where i got my new computer from...the website is www.unitedmicro.com (http://www.unitedmicro.com) and waste more money? Heyyou27 12-28-2005, 12:29 PM Wow that site does suck. They mislabeled it "The BFG FX 6800 Ultra" uber_jedi 01-03-2006, 09:17 PM Alienware is too expensive. entangledvyne 01-04-2006, 11:15 AM Not an alienware fan, i wrote an ok Tech rap i guess hahaha! in a world of technology im an 8086 the only thing that computes slower than me is a cpu constructed out of bricks. i count binary on my fingers mathematically y'all fake ass alienware n***az sit back and laugh at me well the band-width in my head flows free, cuz my mind is better than cracka npc on your linux PC i strive to hold my head up high while you rock your usb hard drive. my brain rock SATA and fire wire. your stuck on legacy. so why dont you throw your linux x-box out of a really high tree. then come crying to me. Drunken_Shinobi 01-04-2006, 12:22 PM The thing with Alienware computers is that they might be expensive but an alienware is actually not just an average gaming PC anyone can build. Alienware actually has many things such as their own RAM and also their cooling system which allows your computer to be cool and pretty much silent. Building a computer with that actually isn't cheaper, in fact it may be more expensive and you might have difficulty setting the stuff up. I'm not really a hardcore fan on the Alienware, I'm just explaining why some people would like to just buy an Alienware. So if you're a hardcore gamer or something that doesn't want to spend his/her time building a computer to play their games then buy an alienware. If you're on a tight budget and you just can't afford that then you can go to newegg or something to buy parts seperatly to build it yourself. Or if you don't like to waste money on something as good or worse, you build your own. Building your own PC can be just as good or better, you just need to know how. AGP Agp pro or PCI express? should i get water cooling? what CPU socket do i need? what CPU's fit in my socket? etc. uber_jedi 01-10-2006, 07:42 AM I like super computers better. (like Hydra) |
