I was randomly thinking that Gprime should have it's own 'award ceremonies', giving the Gprime Stamp of Approval to things like the best game of the year, and the best movie of the year. Or maybe, to have Gprime specific awards, and award the best submissions/users. It would be a little bit of trouble, sure, but I think we could pull it off.
Admins, mods, and users, what do you think? Good idea, or too much trouble?

Sorry, long weekend here in the states and I wasn't that motivated to get on the internet.

Considering this seems to be a popular request, I'm open to ideas on how to set something up for it.

Anyways Blackice, if you don't have the time for it, it's something I could do. I have loads of freetime that I don't know how to spend. >_>

But, my thoughts on how to do this would be that, first, you must come up with a number of categories. ie, for video games, best FPS, best RTS, and things like that, and post every category in one thread. Every one pms/emails their vote to some designated person. And of course, all of that person's votes should be sent at the same time, to avoid clutter. Anyways, after a short while, that designated person would tally up all the votes and see what/who wins. I'd say that we narrow down the choices, but that can often lead to the point where some people don't like any of the choices, and don't vote.

Announce it, make a seperate thread and set up a voting example:
Favorite Video Game: (Insert it here and I reccomended bolding)
And if people don't vote properly (such as more than one vote or incredibly stupid and immature responses) then warn and delete their vote.

No...the best sig award goes for all users, despite artistic talent. You don't have to have a picture to have a good sig. But I could probably mention the Sig Battle winner in the Awards section.
