I don't see why they would. Sony still makes money off EB Games and Gamefly. Wait... how would gamefly work? Sony makes money off gamefly. So, I highly doubt that this is true.

I think it's a good move, maybe if it can only be played on say 3 consoles. Don't trade your games and you won't get punished.
