I know the dub is hated. But i'd like to know which saga to buy. in terms of dub. i know the sub is good but i dont care abut it as much as the dub. Which is the best saga to get please?

Personally, none of the sagas are all that good. I just like the episodes where they actually fight.
And then, the best fight scenes, in my opinion, are in the Saiyan Saga. They're more about the martial arts than the fancy energy attacks.

But Dragonball (the first) was kinda of fun when I was younger too.
If the sayain saga is when they introduced Vegeta (which I'm pretty sure it is D=) then I agree.

Yeah, DB is better than DBZ. It has more comedy, and the action is better. The only downside is that animation isn't really all that great. *But, it's really not good in DB/DBZ/DBGT at all...ever*
For me, the quick martial arts stuff is best. If you decide to go with DB, then get the episodes when they hold the World Martial Arts Tournaments.

To Firedove: Yes. The Saiyan Saga is pretty much everything between Raditz landing on Earth to Vegeta being defeated.
