View Full Version : If you were forced to read an entire book in one day and there was no way out of it nickychris3 10-16-2005, 11:22 PM They're all pretty much the same... WTF? 10-17-2005, 03:34 AM drowned wednesday, i have read the other two but not that one, i have it, i just keep forgetting to read it... JJEESSSSYY!! 10-17-2005, 04:02 AM Anything but Harry Potter, don't like the books and before you say "have you ever tried reading one" yes I have I got bored. Rabbit face 10-17-2005, 12:03 PM i say HP, cos im a very fast reader and my friend read it in 7 hours, on a Saturaday, so i think its possible, besides i dont know the other books joshisposer 10-17-2005, 12:38 PM i don't read so yeah... is there a none answer Jack92 10-17-2005, 01:04 PM no cos you have to read them HP cos i dont no the others NartFOpc 10-17-2005, 01:08 PM I'm gonna have to go with none of those cause they suck, so I'd go with Ringworld by Larry Niven. Not my favorite, but its not too long. Painintheglavin 10-17-2005, 02:35 PM I read Order of the Phenoix in 5 hours out of sheer boredom. Charles rules you all! 10-17-2005, 03:28 PM I wont choose from any of those since I hate reading to an extent that I will burn the book before i even read it....So i choose a picture book Frookie 10-17-2005, 03:36 PM I'd choose HP, only because that book took me an hour to read, so boring when I got through w/ it Ryu-Nacho 10-17-2005, 04:58 PM I don't much like Harry Potter, and I've never heard of the other books, so it's all pretty much the same to me. Hewhoshallnotbenamed 10-17-2005, 05:07 PM I chose harry potter. Why? cause I can read the whole thing in 4 hours ^_^ Firedove 10-17-2005, 05:14 PM The shortest one. Drunken_Shinobi 10-17-2005, 06:43 PM I dunno...I guess I'd rather read Harry Potter, even though I'm not some big fan of it I still think of it as a good book. Kent 10-17-2005, 08:10 PM I chose Harry Potter because I read it in an hour. And also you didn't put a "Don't give a crap" option. nickychris3 10-17-2005, 08:20 PM Because you need to make a choice. Hewhoshallnotbenamed 10-17-2005, 09:48 PM Seriously it is IMPOSSIBLE to read Harry Potter goblet of fire in 1 hour, you would have to speed read and/or skim the whole book, it simply has too many words and too many pages for the human mind to comprehend the book in 1 hour >_> I mean heck I speed read and it took me 4 hours(approximation obviously) nickychris3 10-17-2005, 09:50 PM It probably took six, but felt like four. magila 10-18-2005, 01:11 AM i read all three lotr in 15 seconds..i lie :( JJEESSSSYY!! 10-18-2005, 03:48 AM I'd actually prefere to read the book im reading at the moment, "beneath the skin". You might have seen the film, I havn't 'cause I havn't finished the book yet takes me ages to finish a book 'cause I get distracted very easily. uber_jedi 10-20-2005, 07:33 PM Potter, because...SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE!...even though everyone knows that already. It is a pretty good series. rehabisforquitters 10-25-2005, 01:13 AM If I could only read those, It would be Harry Potter because I've already read it, but If I had to read any book in a day, It would have to be.... Fight club by Chuck Palahniuk (yes, I read the book before I saw the movie.) Scotty 10-25-2005, 01:25 AM Hell yeah fight club rocks! Anyways, I get too distracted when reading a book and for some reason, itchy. I think it just gets boring for me because the only way i can read a book is by looking down on it and that hurts my neck after a while. Pluss I find it hard where to stop. I realy don't like reading especially if it's a long book. I mean, sometimes if you read like 30 pages you forget what happened next morning. Prefer the movies, all the book in less the time. gwia 10-25-2005, 03:50 AM I would choose the big chronicles of narnia book i read that in one day. diet poop 10-27-2005, 12:32 PM once i read wormwood by GP taylor in 2 hours and 27 minutes in one sitting. Thats a great book!!! i guess id say all of then? i dont realy care! i read alot so id probably finish reading them and then just go watch a movie :P sianio 11-01-2005, 12:50 PM I know someone who loves reading so much they read all the books in their school library then read a dictionary. Charles rules you all! 11-01-2005, 05:30 PM I happen to enjoy dictonaries more than regular books... |
