View Full Version : What do you believe about god? (not the g-prime user)
JJEESSSSYY!! 10-16-2005, 12:42 PM ? Just noticed some people put it as one of their fav things in their life.
I personally think it's a load of crap people make up so they have something to fall back on when life gets them down.
Rabbit face 10-16-2005, 01:02 PM i belive in God there are some things i question but i do belive.
surfinfatemus 10-16-2005, 02:23 PM I believe in God %100
Charles rules you all! 10-16-2005, 02:30 PM what a discusting sig remove it imedietly(bad spelling i know)
Frookie 10-16-2005, 02:45 PM worst sig...EVER!!!!!!!!!
God is a figure of imagination created to solve answers that humans didn't know anything at all about, like weather phenomenon
Charles rules you all! 10-16-2005, 02:47 PM AND how the universe was created...
Frookie 10-16-2005, 02:48 PM and how does God exist forever?
Charles rules you all! 10-16-2005, 02:49 PM From a god believer: He is almighty and he gains power from our prayers!
Frookie 10-16-2005, 02:57 PM that doesn't answer how God came to be, you can't just exist randomly
Charles rules you all! 10-16-2005, 03:01 PM Thats the major question that got me to aithestism.
Frookie 10-16-2005, 03:19 PM that's why I don't choose to have a religion, but then again, what exactly did start everything, we won't ever know, we just think we know it, but we don't
btw, you can't have something start everything w/o something starting that, but then it wouldn't start everything, now would it, so...
religion needs to seriously examine itself and figure out what it's done to cover up science
Charles rules you all! 10-16-2005, 03:25 PM you know people are always in religion IE:if you dont like religion you go out and make a religion against religion so really you are hating your own religion and we (me my bro and dad) talked about this in the car ride home today...
I said that what if we find out the things happened would we just be destroied only to rediscover what we already learned because the universe is a real living being that doesnt want us to know about it... so when we find out it destroies everything to make us do it again... but that was just a thought it is not what really happens, for everyone doesnt know about it.
Rabbit face 10-16-2005, 11:23 PM please remove your sig it is absolutlely disgusting
foulplay 10-17-2005, 01:53 AM If he can have that sig I should be able to bring back the yogurt girls. (would balance out the straightness and ***ness)
xxdeathdeathdeathxx 10-17-2005, 02:17 AM i think there is a God, I used to think it was a pile o ****, and i tryed to find evidence, but strangly, i find more evidence for God....
I dont agree with a religon
i guess im a deist
isharted 10-17-2005, 02:25 AM i believe in God and everything written in the Bible
my religion is all about faith and how we respond to temptation
in my opinion, it is very easy to not believe in God and find reasons why it is hard to believe
however, in my experience, the easy way out is never the best in the end
that's my two cents
as for foulplay's avitar, personally, i don't mind it at all (except for that middle picture, that is a little much :P ), but i'm sure people will find it offensive, so i will delete both :D
xxdeathdeathdeathxx 10-17-2005, 02:50 AM not offensive...just nasty....lol...thanks
Rabbit face 10-17-2005, 12:12 PM i belive in God 100%, i have been brought up a Catholic, and taught about God and the commadments and so on since i was born annndd i go to a catholic school, church and have religion lessons 3 times a week annnddd i belive everything in the bible, but from time to time i question it, and theres nothing wrong with that.
twentycentshift 10-17-2005, 02:49 PM it all depends on how you define god. my idea of what god is may be completely different from someone else's, but we both still believe in god.
so, what's the definition of god?
FLuRRy J 10-20-2005, 06:06 AM he doesn't exist
treefalse 10-20-2005, 09:42 AM I believe in God. I've been going through some rough spots, but I believe that God will help me through them.
Junk_Train 10-20-2005, 10:01 AM he doesn't exist
Of course "he" doesn't exist it's just a word.
Swiss Cheese 10-20-2005, 08:37 PM I'm atheist
God does exists if he doesn't then how else was the universe created?
FLuRRy J 10-21-2005, 05:01 AM big bang
What created the big bang? god
Charles rules you all! 10-21-2005, 07:16 AM who created god?
hanxa13 10-21-2005, 07:24 AM I know how the big bang happened. There is lots of evidence for there not being a god. With the big bang, a parallel universe had residue matter. That matter was squished down. 0.8g of matter in the space of 2millionths of a proton. (it squished when it travelled into a space that was literally nothing) This soon exploded and evntually, some of the matter merged to create the first star. When the star exploded, everything needed for life (not just what Earthlings need, but the whole universe) and lumps of rock were created. Some formed planets while others formed stars. And so the universe was begun.
Frookie 10-21-2005, 03:36 PM this is the one thing we'll never know, how we started off, nobody thinks that humans have existed forever, I wonder if that could be true
Ryu-Nacho 10-21-2005, 04:18 PM who created god?
That, my friend, is the reason I'm a cognitive christian. I've been wondering about that question for years.
What do I believe about God? Well, he most definitely exists, and he is very powerful. Omniscient? I don't know if he's THAT powerful...
To those who have been questioning existence of big things, look at the little things first. Analyze it long enough, and you should come across one conclusion.
If you don't come across the solution, let me know, and I'll nudge you in the right direction. ;)
I won't go into argument, but I am christian.
Charles rules you all! 10-22-2005, 12:16 PM My theory is that there was never a god until the time where a guy (leader of some sort) told everyone to worship a figure and then through their worshiping they themselves have created there own being. but i still dont believe
nickychris3 10-22-2005, 12:19 PM From a god believer: He is almighty and he gains power from our prayers!
No He doesn't. That was a contradictin. How can God be almighty if He has to gain power from our prayers? If he invented us, then there's obviously nothing in us that He doesn't already have.
nickychris3 10-22-2005, 12:23 PM who created god?
Nobody.
nickychris3 10-22-2005, 12:24 PM What do I believe about God? Well, he most definitely exists, and he is very powerful. Omniscient? I don't know if he's THAT powerful...
So God is a liar now?
Charles rules you all! 10-22-2005, 12:39 PM thats you beliefs not mine.
Frookie 10-22-2005, 01:11 PM If God does exist, why doesn't "The Almighty One" show us how we are to worship him so we don't commit sin by worshiping him incorrectly?
nickychris3 10-22-2005, 01:13 PM You'd know if you actually read the bible... is that Hillary Duff?
Frookie 10-22-2005, 01:20 PM yeah, I got the original image off of her myspace
but still, no religion really has "the answer" to everything
