i think after so many years of sony supporting i'm buying the xbox 360 becuase it's sooner in the store and the games cost less (i've heard). i think i'm buying the ps3 too though.. it cames out a half year later so i'll have the money then :P

i've heard xbox 360 cost $300+ for basic and if you want the good version $400+ havent heard anything really about the price of PS3 probably $300+

yup, 2 packages for the 360, one's 100 bucks less than the other, more expensive one is better though apparently

i heard that the $300 core system isnt backwards compatible which is a ripoff if yo own xbox games already and cant pay $400 for the upgrade.

The playstations are great! It's better to give Nintendo competition that is horrible then no competition at all.

rankings according to the gaming expo in LA where they played the actual systems:

1. PS3
2. X-Box 360
3. Nintendo Revolution

Nintendo doesn't have a chance unless it's really cheap

Actually, the only reason the PS3 and the 360 are so "popular" is becuase everyone thinks their cool. It has nothing to do with real quality, if it did the Xbox and the PS would be discontinued.

yeah, its because the hip-hop stars installed them into their cars and ordinary people think "oh that is so cool! I want a ps2 to put in my car!" and then that brings a great craze towards sony and they believe that the PS3 would be the same....I personaly believe that nintendo has the best games its just that they have very little games....but fortunatly those games have great replay value making it worth your money...

i owned a nintendo and there were only 3 games i thought had replay value that weren't on other consoles Resident evil 4( but now on PS2), Mario Kart, and Mario tennis other then that nothing.......and before anyone says Super smash bros or mario party, those games are not that great sure fun for kicks but come on.

They only release on PS2, and, when it comes out, PS3. Also, there are other Playstation exclusives that I love. The Budokai series, is another good one off the top of my head. Oh, Tekken. Tekken is good. *Is that PS2 exclusive?*

Well that's fine but the majority of PS fans are people that don't have a life so they take bits of other peoples lives. Presto! You've got the "popular crowd" and everyone in "popular crowd" has to have a PS. Now I'm not saying that if you own one you're a lifeless 'wanna bes' but that's the reason that sony's so "sucessful". And the fact of the matter is, the Revolution didn't have a chance of to winning a fair rank from the the people who did that test in LA, they already knew what the order would be before they even tested those games, becuase they were 'wanna bes' too.

Well, yes, I do think the PS2 is better than the Gamecube, but only in some aspects. I prefer gameplay over other elements. When it comes to graphics, Nintendo is all over it. And the XBOX's strong point is online multiplayer. Everything has pros and cons. You just have to balance them out.

Excuse me? I support the PS3 because it will run linux and they are taking a much more open approach to the system. Though this wouldn't appeal to people who have no practical experience with any modern operating system (linux, bsd, mac OS X) for an avid linux programmer (python) it means that the system is not just a gaming console, but also a powerful compiling machine, with 8 cores, each one at 3ghz+. It has come to the point where consoles are expected to do more than just play games *cough nintendo cough* but also be complete multientertainment systems. I want to run EQ2 on my PS3? Fine, I'll load up Wine and I'm ready to go. Any system that supports linux, with a non restricted kernal, is going to have the entire OSS community behind it. Microsoft and Nintendo chose to go the high security DRM route instead, which is a viable path but not the path that people like me would even consider.

Yeah, Sony has always aimed to design and produce multimedia stations over game consoles. They did this with PS2 and PSP. Apparently, they're planning on global domination with PS3. Soon, they will have amassed a large enough army of zombie-ized players that they will be able to crush all who stand in their way.

It's a very wierd, and quirky game. It's two-player mode is still good now and then though. :P

Yeah I had plenty hours dedicated to that game then I beat it in all ways possible and I just stopped playing it...I should play it once more to see if I can enjoy it one last time...
