View Full Version : Political views in school?
rehabisforquitters 09-23-2005, 01:12 AM I was walking by a display of projects in the hall today and noticed that almost every single one of them had bush's face on them, with some sort of bashing remark like, *pic of bush* "Terrorist"
I am commenting on this from a completely neutral view, but I think that it is wrong to teach kids your political views in school.
POLITICAL VENDETTAS MUST BE KEPT OUTSIDE SCHOOL.
treefalse 09-23-2005, 09:27 AM My history teacher gave us a lecture on how Bush was a moron. I wanted to scream in his face. Suspention would have been worth it....
Led_Zeppelin 09-23-2005, 03:06 PM The following people should not talk about Politics:
Everyone above me, and me.
Charles rules you all! 09-23-2005, 03:35 PM You all of us should look at both sides of their moronic views And you will see that none of the sides are worthy of predidency....
I think it's ok to have a positive political view in a school, but being negative is just disrespectful.
Junk_Train 09-23-2005, 07:57 PM Well public schools are funded by the government. Duh.. politics are going to be a big thing in school, there's tons of events that are political.. class presidential elections, cheerleader squad leader, head football coach, school wouldn't be school without politics.
Heyyou27 09-23-2005, 08:23 PM Every aspect of our society is influenced by politics in some way.
nickychris3 09-23-2005, 09:43 PM You all of us should look at both sides of their moronic views And you will see that none of the sides are worthy of predidency....
You are an idiot.
Charles rules you all! 09-23-2005, 11:13 PM And so are you...
nickychris3 09-23-2005, 11:19 PM No, no. It's just you.
flamingbs 09-23-2005, 11:48 PM It's amazing that some people think Bush could become president by being stupid. He's the most powerful person in the world, and he couldn't have gotten to where he was by being an idiot. I bet his IQ is higher than most people's here.
Charles rules you all! 09-23-2005, 11:55 PM You can be and idiot and still be president...all have to do is pretend to be very religous and talk about how he(god) is your saver, and go with the most voted for side of pollitics IE. the republicans. That way, there is now way you can lose.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-23-2005, 11:57 PM Politics aren't my thing...I prefer not to talk of them.
nickychris3 09-23-2005, 11:59 PM Hey, Charlie? I think you should take a look at this. (http://funnyjunk.com/pages/fool.htm)
Charles rules you all! 09-24-2005, 12:28 AM Good for you, I bet you were dancing to that idiotic music it has.
nickychris3 09-24-2005, 12:30 AM I wish there was one that said, "You are a hyppocrite," also.
Charles rules you all! 09-24-2005, 12:32 AM Thats nice.
nickychris3 09-24-2005, 12:37 AM I don't wanna talk about this anymore. I don't like what discussing politics does to people. Unless you're planning on being a polititian, used to be in the army, used to be a polititian, or actually attempts to find out ALL of the facts before jumping to crazy biased conclusions, it's best you leave it alone. This isn't a personal attack or anything.
Charles rules you all! 09-24-2005, 12:41 AM Yeah I know, Its just that when ever I say something Its always you to say something about what i say, keep it to yourself and release your anger on something else for instince kick your cat.....JK but anyway this is just to use up a post and to tell you that im working on a flash right now add any suggestions you want at the works in progress section...
nickychris3 09-24-2005, 12:42 AM If we're about to get off topic, we should do that in a different thread.
Charles rules you all! 09-24-2005, 12:43 AM Yeah, like the one I just stated.
Oh and bush sucks and yata yata.....go on with your pollitics.
It's amazing that some people think Bush could become president by being stupid. He's the most powerful person in the world, and he couldn't have gotten to where he was by being an idiot. I bet his IQ is higher than most people's here.
His IQ is actually higher then our last few presidents.
I guess it's kind of like a band messing up in concert, just because they do, doesn't mean they stink.

rehabisforquitters 09-25-2005, 05:52 PM I wasn't trying to get into a huge debate about political agendas, I was just trying to see if any of you think that it is wrong to voice a political opinion in school IF YOU ARE A TEACHER.
nickychris3 09-25-2005, 05:54 PM Then obviously you WERE trying to get into a debate, dummy!!!!!
rehabisforquitters 09-25-2005, 11:43 PM yes, a debate about whether or not it is alright to voice political opinions in school, by teachers. It doesn't matter if the opinion is for or against bush, but I just feel that it is wrong to voice this type of thing as a teacher.
Bosman310 09-26-2005, 09:22 AM ahh yes jesse i remember when we saw those posters
