so i've noticed a lack of cool things to look at here so i'm going to rip off gizmodo and post them here.

my favorite first.

I took one look at this and started to weep. I weep because this Athens five-screen Bluetooth-enabled monitor is so beautiful, so stunning, and would be so awesome with Doom 3. The resolution is a jaw-dropping 19200 x 2400 pixels with 16.7 million colors. And the whole thing has a depth of only 2.5 inches. You could also get it in a 2 to 4 display screen configuration (dubbed Gemini, Cinerama, and Grand Canyon, respectively) if you don’t have the cash for the big Athens. Speaking of cash, that’s another reason why I weep—because there’s no way I’ll ever be able to afford this thing. No price listing so far, but we suspect it’ll be astronomical. And did I mention this is fake?
hahhahahahaha, too bad huh?

for the real stuff

It features a two-port USB 2.0 hub on the back, as well as one on top for additional connectivity (the press photo shows it with an iPod Shuffle). The white version is made for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, and features all of the alternate key characters printed on the keys (so you know what happens when you combine it with an option or shift key). The black version doesn’t have the same detail, but you can use it on both PCs and Macs with OS X 10.4 or higher.

Toshiba announced today a new upgrade to its Gigabeat line of MP3 players. Hold the phone, maybe I missed the notice, but I guess the Gigabeat is big news nowadays. Anyway, this is an upgrade to the previous lines of Gigabeat players. It’s a 30 GB model that also features a large 240 x 320 pixel screen. This dap supports MP3, WMA, WAV, and DRM. It can handle continuous playback for 16 hours. Expect to see this player hit the foreign market September 22 for roughly $330 dollars in three super-happy-fun colors!

i think i'm going to sell my iriver for that based on appearance.

more to come.

go-l being the company that 'made' those monitors, but it was quickly discovered they were a fake company selling fake products.
