One of my friend wants to buy the new X-Box when it comes out, while some others say that PS3 is a better choice.

What would you say is the better choice? Regarding the price, graphic and all of those stuffs.

I haven't heard much about either, but I'd go with ps3 because I like playstation better.

I saw an Xbox360 a couple of days ago. It was alright. But Call of Duty2 didn't look any better on that than it does on my pc.

Out of ps3 and 360, ps3 is probably better. Bill Gates has enough money, and should stop making new systems. All the games are practicly the same. MOst of them shooters. Ps3 has some variety, so it's better. 360 cost too much, more than its own name. And graphics don't matter as long as the game is fun, at least to me.

That's your opinion, it's good marketing and it was directed very well at the target markets, you saw it didn't you? While it may have angered die hard Sony fans it got people who look forward to the competitive gaming that stems from the XBox excited (though I personally prefer a PC for that).

All a matter of choice. Many people prefer more of the competitive aspect of gaming, while some appreciate the art of it, such is people who play RPGs (myself included, though I do enjoy competitive games).

In the end you're entire post was, on the majority, opinions and nothing more. If you like the style of games that were released for PS2, by all means get a PS3. I will. If you like the competitive gaming like what seen on the XBox, get a XBox 360. I will. If you like retro games or classic console style games, or like playing with a system that tries more to be innovative (as much as that hurts me to say) than powerful, go get a Revolution. I will. They all have their perks and areas that they are best at. Don't discount a consol just because you don't like it. The blind worshipping of a console leads to fanboyism, and no one wants to deal with that.

yes, those were opinions my opinions, i've played xbox lots of title btu no games caught any interest except for halo, fable(for a short it), and conquer otherwise nothing, and the the xbox was mainly a fps system with a few sports games in the mix, and yes while ps has had problems i still own one of the first playstation and ps2 and they are both in perfect working order,and yes they did get peoples attentions with all there commercials still too much for my taste, another thing i'll be getting a ps3 and a rev possible due to the fact that sony has all the great game lisences and rev just to play some old school games and get back to basics, yes i have played 360 on a high def screen, ok so the graphics are good, but a true gamer know its about story and game play and to date thats bee sony......these are my opinions........have a wonderful day

I'm getting a PS3 because i like PS2 and Playstation. And im also getting it because there's Metal Gear Solid 4 on it!! Yay! I've played all the other Metal Gears and i love them. And apparently there's going to be Final Fantasy VII on it!!! Yay! Apparently it'll have Advent Children graphics for in-game graphics!! Yay! And umm... yeah.
