Bittorrent is a "peer-to-peer" app as their called (kind of like kazaa), but instead you download a ".torrent" file that connects you to a server, like PirateBay (where you can also search for these .torrent files at), where you can download your thing from other people around the world who have it.

It's a bit confusing at first... but you get the hang of it pretty quick.
