A nerd is someone who has no social life, and fits most of the "millhouse" physical characteristics. A geek is someone who in not necessarily unsociable but who is technologically inclined. I consider myself a geek since I am very good with computers, but I do still have a social life. I have tons of friends, I go out and party, I spend more time hanging out at bars and their places sometimes than I do at home. So, to sum it all up, in many cases saying "Phew! I'm not a geek" is basically the same as saying "Phew! I have no skills with technology." Cheers |
