Creative media source on my pc with my 200 GB hard drive + Audigy 2 ZS and 5.1 surround sound. I also have a 30 GB Creative Zen Jukebox.

I am getting my 5GB Creative Zen Mirco tomorrow. I am excited.

There's also a built-in microphone for up to 10 hours of voice recording. Ideal for taking notes, recording lectures and remembering those inspirations you'll have as you hear the clarity of the MP3 and WMA music you've stored on Zen Micro.

Not that you will ever get tired of your 5GB music library when it can hold 2,500 songs. But, if you find yourself in the mood for radio, simply tune in with the Zen Micro's built-in FM radio. Set up to 32 station presets so you can catch up on the latest sports results, listen to your favorite talk show, or navigate your way out of traffic congestions. Your Zen Micro will even record your favorite radio shows, so you can listen to and enjoy them later.
This is the one I'm getting -

Green iPod minis do look nice, but I like the classic color, doesn't look quite as 'toy' like to me.

Too bad saying how many songs an MP3 player can hold is inaccurate, and would actually vary based on what songs they are.

I have to say that is a pretty weak comparison. I mean you have to consider things like battery life, screen size, screen colour, size, the buttons, extra applications you can get, that is how you make a comparison.

My friend just got one of those Creative Zen Micros and he loves it. Anyone heard anything about them? I personally don't want an iPod and he listed the features to me and it sounded pretty spiffy.

By the way, I just looked up the price and it said $199 and only $179 about $20 rebate :)

Edit, heck upon further research I found that the Dell Pocket DJ weighs more then the iPod mini and has a shorter battery life. Remeber kids always do reserach before you buy a product so you know if you can get a better piece of equipment for the same amount of money.

For music, I hum to myself and mumble quietly while walking, then at random intervals of time-I put my fingers together (just as Mr. Burns does in the Simpsons) and say "excellent..." out loud.

Music players are too expensive, hence I do not have any.

now it is, but at the time of that post i dont think the nano had been released. but now they are trying to phase out the mini w/ the nano. then who knows, some other smaller increment. the nano will be replaced by the fraction, then the ipod decimal will replace all, that is till the ipod microsopic comes out.

there's no mp3 player that can hold an infinite amount of songs. of course you could have a mini disc player and have millions or even billions of mini discs. although you could never have an infinite amount.

it is true everyone nowdays just dl's music. but my friend nick works at the college radio station, and they have tons of cds. and he himself buys a new cd everytime we go to hastings (a music store) just because it is something unique to actually own the cd.

What I meant was getting halfway through the song, and then you hear high pitched squeals (like dial up).

128 MB Nomad Muvo, 1st Gen. BEAT THAT *****ES!!111eleven.

I love it, no matter how ghetto it is. It carries my favorite 36 songs, and that's all I really need. In fact, I'm pretty sure I have a good 10-20 unused mb. If you've ever seen the Muvo's, they're basicaly flash drives with a play button. That's it. Bare basic mp3 storage/playback that works brilliantly.

i agree with you. i have a 256 gig rio chiba. yeah it's gross, but it's small and when i'm at school or at work i only need my current favorites, normally b/w 40-90 songs. but i prefer my iriver when i'm driving, or on trips.

Not exactly an mp3 player, but it does do that. Palm Zire 72 (PDA), you have to buy SD memory card because theres just not enough room on the handheld, and SD cards as far as I've seen only come as big as 1 gig, but on the bright side, you can also take really crappy pictures of things you wanna remember but can't cause you left your good camera at home and was stuck using this one. Bluetooth, viewing avi's, IR port(doesn't do much though), organizer, and downloadable games are a plus though. Honestly, an HP is more program-friendly, cause it runs a PDA style windows on it.
There you go, everything you knew about PDA's, reprinted for your distaste.

I finally have something to do in church! Mooch of its wireless internet router and go on MSN while listening to music!
