I've got this huge mpeg video some friends and I made, and I wanna' post it on GPrime. It's only 6 and a half minutes long, but it's about 300 megs in size. Anyone know of any good compression or mpeg4 encoding software?

john isn't gonna put it on here if it is six minutes long...but no, i dont know how to compress video...

use a video editing program and downgrade the quality or put it in a better format. also u can put it in a .zip or .rar file to make it a lil smaller.

easiest way to do it (if you have windows xp) is to use windows movie maker
it can take the size down to whatever you want, and outputs a .wmv file, which john uses the site

Download a codec pack aswell when editing your videos so you can compress it to like 8 megs,
