If its from korea, it won't work.

Actually it will work. For a private server to work and be the most updated you use Korean Ragnarok Online. Because Ragnarok Online has many different versions such as China, International, Thailand, Korea, Japan, and etc. I have to specify that you need the Korean RO, and every private server uses Korean because it's the most updated out of the other ones because RO was released in Korea first and that way you get all the new stuff earlier before everybody else. If it's from Korea, it will work but it will be laggy.

I see a lot of servers. A lot of good ones. But I don't see any that particularly strike my fancy. Today, I tried out 5 of these servers. None of them worked the way I would have liked. Soo, I am going to post everything and anything I want in a server, and hope to goodness someone e-mails me with their server.

Things I Would Like:
1. TALKING/LOYAL PETS - Pets that become loyal quickly - I cannot tell you how often people ignore me and exclude me on servers I play even though I am kind, follow rules, and am generally helpful. So, if no one else is gonna talk to me, I want a pet to talk to me while I level. This is a MUST before I even think of registering.

2. HIGH RATE - I want a HIGH RATE. I am not lazy, it's just that some times I don't have enough time to dedicate to 1 level per hour considering I think most the lower jobs look funky. I'm sorry but the female thief looks gross .. I'd rather have a Sin Cross. D:

3. MAX LEVELS - Max Lvl above 255. More preferably, I want 999. Job level of at LEAST 125. I LOVE having ALL of my spells. 70 or 80 wont cut it for me. =/

4. DROP RATE - 100% drops rates. I hate having 0.1% drops. It's stupid. That's hours of my life wasted trying to get 1 FREAKING ITEM. >_< Card I don't exactly mind if they drop 100% of the time, because I never really use them. They're nice though. <3

5. @COMMANDS - I want to be able to use more then enough EXCEPTIONAL @commands. Such as ..

@go - I like being able to get back to town.
@warp - I like the Warp Agents, but I like being able to warp myself.
@pettalk - This is such a fun command, me and my friend Shikyo used to use this command a lot. X3~
@showexp - This one is depending on whether or not you can already see your EXP without using this command. I like to know where I get the most exp ...
@autoloot - You have no idea how much carpel tunnel I am going to face when I'm getting old because of all the clicking you do in this game. I don't want to have to click my items too especially when the drop rate is 100%, thanks.

Those are all the commands I use the most, any more are negotiable I guess. Also, @pettalk isn't NEEDED, but it's fun to use.

6. ACTIVE GAME MASTERS - PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF JEEBUS HAVE ACTIVE GMS!! I hate it when people get away with being a total asshat and then never get punished!! If you don't have active GMs, make me one! >_< I'm almost always on! D:

7. AFK/VEND/Chat ON SIDEWALK - Absolutely do not allow people to go AFK or end, or even go AFK next to NPCs. I HATE this. Not being able to see an NPC or click and NPC because some people crowd around them is not acceptable. Also, if the Sidewalk Vend/AFK/Chat is in effect, PLEASE DON'T HAVE NPCS ON THE GODDAMN SIDEWALK!! This is the reason you tell people not to go AFK around that central monument in Prontera or whatever your main town is!! That's where you put your NPCs!!! GAWD!

8. HEALER NPC - Healers in town are nice. Including all I wanna have to do is click one time. Not go through a whole,"HAY U WNT HEEL?! YES R NO!!!" thing. If all you have to do is click ONE TIME, no one is gonna be pissed off they had to say no because the clicked the Healer NPC on accident.

9. BUFFER NPC - This LAGS LIKE HELL. So please, if you have a buffer, put it in another town or something ... Or make it so you cannot 1 click this item .. People spam the shit out of this. "OH GAWD, MY 1 BUFF OUT OF 30 OF THEM RAN OUT, *CLICK-CLICK-CLICK-CLICK-CLICK*" It's true. And it saddens me. My computer runs slow enough without some n00b spamming the buffer NPC. You click it 1 TIME. Not 3 TIMES. kthx.

10. CUSTOMS - Headgears and Wings are nice. BUT! I'd like to just be allowed to BUY them. Doing special stuff for them is fine, but I'd rather just pay ZENY.

11. MVP ARENA - I's like an MvP arena that I could just SUMMON a certain monster from a NPC in the arena other then having 3 arenas with the shitty MvP monsters. I want a list of all of them I can summon in the arena. Thanks.

I like custom hair sprites, as well as mages having broom sticks to ride .. that's neat.

Baby classes, eh .. I have never ever used this because I think it's stupid and pointless.

For better simulation of the official servers managed by gravity, FiRO is powered by AEGIS EP. 10.4, Gravity's Ragnarok Online server software. Our rates, like in the official servers, are 1/1/1. ======Staff

The FiRO Staff has been carefully chosen to ensure player's satisfaction and fair game-play. Our Game Management team are professionals at their fields and will do everything they can to satisfy the player. The Game Management team is checked weekly to ensure the quality of the staff. All actions taken by a Game Manager will be assessed by an Administrator to ensure fairness to all. All of the FiRO Boards management activity will be done by a single user, "FiRO-Staff".

Hi everyone,

Yet another server. What separates this server from the others is that there are no donation items on this server and the GMs all have limited powers (for example, they cannot drop items). The strict policies on the GMs and players (such as no botting) make the server a very stable server.

The GMs are very profession and polite and the community is great. If nothing else visit their forum and check out the community and make a decision.

Currently, there are two servers. 5/5/3 and 100/100/50. Both servers have a max levels of 99/70 and are as close to kRO as they can get.

How to play RRO:
How to play RRO:
1) Go to www.ragnarokrevolution.com
2) Click on the Registration & CP link on the left hand side of the site. (Registration & CP).
3) Click on Create a new Account located on the right side.
4) Type in the account info you want then click Register.
5) Go to www.ragnarokrevolution.com/downloads.html to download the custom client or KRO Patch Client.
6) Choose ether the direct download, mirror, or torrent to download the installer.
7) After the installer finishes downloading, install it by double clicking on it.

Extraordinary Features:

Choice to skip from novice to high novice and then directly into transcendant classes. This choice was made to relieve the tedious task of rebirthing character after character after character. Originally we had planned for 1000x rates to ease this, however we have found it to be more enjoyable leveling as a transcendant character for a longer period of time than to rush through a non-transcendant character and then a transcendant character.
Choice to use non-transcendant only PvP Rooms. Many players think that transcendant classes threw ragnarok off balance. We think that the choice to make non-transcendant classes for the purpose of fighting against non-transcendant classes is an important feature, and hope that those players who are tired of transcendant class imbalances will find refuge in our PvP rooms.

Well, even though it is still a work in progress, (Quick progress, nonetheless.) there are many features we plan on adding. One of which is a sort of 'Final' Boss for the players who want to test themselves. I can't give you all the info, but the boss isn't able to be defeated without around 50+ players, and they HAVE to be good. In order for him to be unlocked, though, the server must obtain 100+ people on at a time. The drops for him are worth it though. VERY worth it.
Full PK server, except for towns.
A few donation items, but they don't really overpower any players. They're more for looks.

6. When is War of Emperium?
American Woe is on Saturday and Sunday from 7 PM to 9 PM (GMT-05:00 Eastern Time).

European WoE is on Friday, at 7 PM to 9 PM (GMT+01:00 Amsterdam Time), each WoE has

different castles enabled at their respective times; meaning American players won't

lose their Castles to European Players and vice versa!

7. Does Forsaken Ragnarok Online have any events?
We certainly do! We have various different types of events that are done on a daily

basis, examples would be: Poring Events, Hide and Seek Events, and Last Man Standing

Are you looking for something Original and Custom? A server that truly defines what the word custom means?

DestinyRO is a completely different game of Ragnarok, with a ton of unique and interesting features not found anywhere else.

Here is just a small list of features, with new content being added every few days.

- Rates: These are custom rates, based on the brand new monsters found within DestinyRO.
- No More Status Points: Instead you gain + 1 of all Stats Every Level Up.
- Max Stats: 999.
- Destiny Point System: Leveling up gives you 10 Destiny Points which can be traded in for more Stats of your choosing. 100 Destiny Points give you +5 more Stats.
- Custom Weapon System: Most of the current RO weapons have been redone, given new Specialties as well as better more organized Attack Power and Attack Speeds. There will more and better weapons in the future. An example - Sword Type Weapons have a 5% Chance to Double Attack. Not to mention, dozens of new weapons being added as the game progresses.
- Magic and Healing Scaling: Magic Attack is also increased from the Attack Power that comes from Weapons. This means you can refine a Rod and you'll do more magic damage as well as melee damage. Healing is also increased with a Higher Magic Attack.
- Custom Cards: Customized cards drop from all monsters found in the custom dungeons to help you gain power and customize your playing style. A list of cards can be found here. Remember that only the custom cards will work, all cards from official servers have been disabled.
- Custom Gems: Unique Gems, Diamonds, and Quartz give stat bonuses to assist you on your journey for ultimate power. These gems provide a multitude of stat bonuses and can be placed in multiple gears at once to get huge bonuses. More information can be found here.
- Vile Caverns: New Dungeon to help level players from 100-150. New Monsters, Extravagant equipment, and new Jewels and Diamonds, that you can place into your gear. 3 Fun Mini Bosses with good rewards.
- The Forgotten Castle: A higher level dungeon for players from 150-175. Test your mettle as you're plagued by high level monsters with a wicked bite. The effort is worth the reward; the monsters' drops are as useful as they are valuable.
- Rilindia and the Tree of Awakening: Journey onward from level 175 into the Tree of Awakening, home of the Goddess Phoenix. Fight the strongest monsters yet alongside your friends, and work your way towards the inner sanctum to challenge the corrupt goddess Phoenix, the first official boss of DestinyRO.
- Custom Class Changes: There are have been a ton of changes done to all classes, making them more balanced and equally powerful.

This is just a small list of what there currently is, but there are alot more things in store for DestinyRO. We are looking for more people so that we may start to enjoy the new Party Dungeons. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Rampage RO was started earlier this year in 2008. After going through a great deal of hardships, we believe that we are now able to deliver satisfaction to our players. Our server consists of nice and friendly players who would help the new players.

War of Emperium is also implemented here. Greetings, I am one of the guild masters of Shoujo Ai Showdown on GarmRO. We are looking to recruit some more experienced players (WoE/PvP) to join us.

About Us

As the name suggests this guild is based on Shoujo Ai series, and although we are hoping to mostly have Shoujo Ai related characters, character names from other anime are allowed, and exceptions will be made for friendly and knowledgeable players.

We WoE three times a week, we average over 10 castles every WoE. Thus far the highest number of castles kept at the end of a WoE session is 15. We average about 5-7 players on during each WoE out of our approximate 24 members, and despite being outnumbered a minimum of 2 to 1 every time, we always still come out with about or over 50% of the castles.

I've been playing mmorpgs for about 9 years- WoW, EQ, EQII, EQOA, FFXI, and Rappelz. On EQOA I was the co-leader of a high end raiding guild that still managed to have a family feel. In real life I am a woman with a great deal of leadership experience, and my co-leader (also my fiancè) is a Psychologist. What does EmPlani mean?
It's a shortened form of Empyrean Planisphere. Quite the odd words to use, hmm? Thematically it fits, and well, I happen to think that EmPlani sounds pretty and has a bit of a mystical feel to it. It's also a light tribute to touhou style naming conventions~

empyrean : an ideal place or state
planisphere : polar projection of the celestial sphere and the stars on a plane with adjustable circles or other appendages for showing celestial phenomena for any given time

What is the ~EmPlani~ server like?
Well, it's a lower rate (3/3/5 with 2.5 MVP), more hardcore, more traditional server that will bring about community and game play experiences closer to official servers. However, private servers also can benefit from some sorts of unique features that can act as a draw and provide enhanced experiences. In this case, we're focusing on two things.

The first focus?
One being the weather phenomena system, in which there are minor changes applied globally during different cycles of weathers. An example to this would be a minor boost to hp and accuracy during day time, sp and flee during night, and some weathers may influence strength, speed, luck, def, and so on. While it won't ruin anyone's day, it will provide moments in which players may be able to shine above normal, or may need to adjust to compensate for the change in conditions. The intent is to provide more immersion and make the play a bit more dynamic and lively~

...and if you are familiar with the touhou series, you may recognize that this got inspiration from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and thus became a Scarlet Weather Ragnarok!

The second focus?
Two is the episodic story arc and also standalone quests plan. What this server won't have are spontaneous casual events that get run randomly -- like hide and seek, dice, and similar. However, there will still be planned events, that may include novice themes, monster challenges, pvp challenges, and more. BUT, its MAIN FOCUS is to provide regular _story_ related events or quests which will give creative content and story writers a chance to shine and have players enjoy those works. These may be GM run, NPC driven, or a combination of both.

Please tell us more about the weather system?
It's a bit of a surprise, so here's a teaser for you. Some weathers are good, some are bad, some can be both! These stack with the light and dark system as well, I'm sure many of you will find it fun. Effects can range from pretty much anything gameplay/combat related, including drops and speed. Don't worry though, the weathers are random for fairness, and the effects, while noticeable, will be slight. There won't be any such thing as a weather gimping a class or type, or making you unable to level or quest. It's all to provide a more dynamic and immersive experience. There's more! Additionally, seasons, or global events or story quests may also change some factors in the game world. It'll all fit into some sort of storyline or thematic purpose.

Thematic Recurring Events?
We're launching with 1 Thematic Recurring Event. This event might evolve, there might be additional ones to be added on top of it, or perhaps they will get cycled. It'll all depend on how it goes! But for now, the first:

It's the Malignant Spirits of Weather system. Every time the weather changes, there's a chance that unbalanced powers in the world cause a town invasion to occur. Shall players actively band together to clear them, participating adventurers may seek out a Shrine Maiden, whom will gratefully reward them with a token that may be traded in for special items. Please look forwards to it!

What is your policy on multi-clienting?
As we have a community and social focus here, multi-clienting is punishable by jailing. So please don't do it period. We understand that it's difficult to force this restriction for various reasons, but please don't do it as we can and will catch up at any time.

What is your policy on AFK leveling and farming?
We have a 30 minute max AFK leveling policy. Enforcement GMs will check on this and issue a warning or jailing. As far as the autoloot timer, autoloot with automatically shut off after idling.

What is the donation policy?
No donation rewards period. This is a true no donations rewards server. None of that "we provide no rewards that advantage any players" but giving out a ton of OBBs, OPBs, OCAs, BBs, top tier consumables, and what not. Donations are accepted for those who wish to support the server though, and you will receive appreciation and thanks. I hope to attract a loyal following whom appreciates this ideal and concept, as there are not many servers of this type out there.

How will I be able to connect and play?
Download the Version 5 Installer!! Then visit the main site and click the register button and fill out the form. For more detailed directions, check out the main site or seek assistance on the forums. Also, the main site will be gradually upgraded with more features to integrate with the game. This way there will be more feelings of completeness. However, one of the design decisions of this server is to promote community as a top priority, so if something will take away opportunities for people to socialize and interact, it probably won't be implemented. :p

Seventh Sanctum will be a special role play server.

Some features:

- Midrate Server.

- Max Level: 300/70.

- Max Stats: 150, Status Points have been adjusted to assure the balance.

- The gameplay happen in line with the Storyline. Starting with an introduction and then free playing in line with the conditions given by it.

- The Position of all monsters has been redistributed randomly all over Ragnarok Online; the monsters will be ajusted, so that they will be a challenge at every level. Furthermore, their EXP will be ajusted to assure a constant chance of success.

- The leveling is supported by the Quest System: Every player has a Quest Log and can accept randomly generated quests to solve. They offer much diversion from basically leveling.

- Also special quests will be available which will not be randomly generated. There are a couple of big Sub-Quests that one can handle with, aside of the actual leveling.

- One of the most interesting features is the Spell Sytem.
With this, your character is able to learn and cast spells to affect many helpful things.
Also, you can improve your spells by increasing their knowledges.

- A special atmospheric time system. Featuring special day, week and month names, it is really different than the real time system and there are also opening times for the shops ingame, or time controlled events!

- Job system: You can change your job anytime and your old values like Base Level, Status Points etc. will be saved so that you get them back if you change back.
Therefore, you will actually have one character for each class in your character.

- Guild Manager which allows the leader to do many useful things. For example making a standing order for earnings with which a certain amount will be payed every ingame day to your guild members.
Also, he can edit the access to that NPC for any guild member individual!

Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you all know, that there is a great new ro server out there.
It's called LibertyRO. The server will open up on 1st of February or sth and me and my guild are pretty sure we are going to join there.
Seems like there's still some GMs there, who want to keep the game like it's meant to be. HP and forums also look very nice. Seems like they put some effort into this. Finally something different to all that over customized crap out there, but still with cool rates making it not too hard.

KyriosRO is a newly born server that is located in the United States, Dallas. You might want to ask, what can we kind of service we can deliver to the players? Well, firstly we are all mature and professional staff so no worry about the stability of the server, we have enough resource to keep the server up and running all years long, but of course we will need donation in the future in order to upgrade our server to an even better environment although its already nice enough for now. Kyrios RO is also an WoE based server but there is no WoE now because the server is new, we will set WoE up once the server reach average online of >40 player so no worry about that ;). About Server uptime it should be 24/7 lagless unless our host is doing some server maintenance which shouldn't take long and the server will start up automatically each time the server restarted.

Hi, NetRO is a new international retro server that will be up within this week and we would like to start a community on the server.

We are a new server which opened on August 21st, 2011 and we look forward to meeting you in game!
