No! Someone figured out how to unlock the "prostitute game" in GTA. Some guy put it on the cd's but he just locked it from being unlocked. Well now someone made a mod to unlock so now it is rated Ao: Adults Only.

umm they cant change the rating of a game due to mods. the game is still rated m and no degree of modding will change that. if somthing is in the game and can only be unlocked thru modding it is technicaly not part of the sold game so the game is still rated m

It actually is considered part of the game, even if it is a part that is never accessed by 'normal means'. Leaving that on there, even as an easter egg was asking for trouble. It IS now Adults Only, which is 18+, while before it was Mature, which is 17+. The big difference is that most stores don't sell AO rated games, such as Walmart which sells more games than any other company.

So I'm guessing you read Maddox's opinion of the hot coffee mod?

Yeah but that all is just common knowledge, that is why game companies fight like all hell to get Mature instead of AO.

I know. The ones who want it changed to AO just want to see Rockstar go out of business. If they truly wanted to enforce the ratings, or try and inform parents of what the ratings truly mean.

The hack is called Hot Coffee. It became popular pretty fast.

It's the Hot Coffee mod. This is because your "In game girlfriend" asks if you'd like some coffee when you take her home. I've seen it, and let me tell you, it's not all that hot.

Isn't there a similar problem with The Sims 2? Some idiot lawyer (http://biz.gamedaily.com/features.asp?article_id=10154&filter=) is setting up a lawsuit aganist EA beacuse you can mod it so the clothes come off. Of course no one really knew about the mod before he mentioned it (I knew that it must exist, but didn't bother to find it). Basically it removed that pixely stuff that EA put in. Anyway he just made the problem worse by telling people about it.
