Instead of saving you flash document in the standard swf format theres a drop down box where you can choose from a variety of formats, including Ani Gif which is what your looking for.

From the example you showed me it looks like it's animating more than one frame, but if you are having that problem make sure the frames go as far as they should in the timeline and don't have your movie in a movie clip

oh, i had that problem too! it might be because you are using a movie clip, or you arent EXPORTING the movie...you have to export the movie and then instead of exporting as an swf, export as a gif by using the pull down menu of valid extensions.

cause what you said was very unclear, and i had added a part about the extensions you can use.
