You submit a picture from your picture documents and it makes a web page for that picture. Use that link and add it as an image into your signature. If it's already a link to the picture, then just add that.

I use abs.gprime for all the gif avitars, it's great.

And imageshack has the size printed on it, cant help that with direct link have to find it on their server. Atleast its free hosting.
