The oldest video game was a chase game called Fox and Hounds made by Ralph Baer who is the REAL inventer of video games.

I did some research and found that the first game might have been Tennis for Two which was basicly a primitive Pong ( haw can it get simpler then 2 paddles, a square going back and forth, a line in the middle and a scoreboard?).

when they invented pong they actually knew how to make more intricate games, but they just did pong as like, a practice thing.

It wasnt really a practice thing since it was copied of 2 former games, Ping Pong and Tennis for Two. Pong was really a much easier game then those 2 because the paddles went all over the place and the ball had a mind of its own so when you think of it Pong was a intricate compared to older games of the time.

everybody talking consoles and pong was not just game. It was a console. Thas why I said pong.

So what was first console?

the only true pong console I know was Super Pong.
