sony has annouced that the ps3 will cost $399.99 US wich is weird cause the system cost more than that to manufacture does anyone else think that sony (with video games their last indutry with a good pulse) is going to kill their video game industry. most people say they will make the money back eaisly by offering hd blue ray edition of dvds because the ps3 will be the first official big selling blue ray disc player.

The ps3 would most likely get their money that way because all those hip hop stars are going to install them into their cars making hip hop fans copy them into buying the system....but im not really sure they would buy the blue ray thing u were talking about beacuse im not really sure what that is...once i learn what it is i might be able to find out.... oh and if Sony goes out of bussiness it wont be too much of a loss there's always the gamecube revolution and the Xbox 360 coming out... :smokeing1

idont think they make alot of their money off jip hop fanz. plus hiphop fanz install x boxs in their carz not ps2. dumb n00bs might instal a ps2 or 3. black people like x boxs plus it would be kindsa hard to instal a ps3 weird wedge thing ina car

Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony all sell the consoles at a loss. If you knew how overinflated the prices are for the games, you'd understand how they can sell the consoles so cheap and still make an overall profit.
