Dose anyone know why my new computer sucks? The only thing I could think of is going into your computers system and make sure it's on default for color. Do all videos that play on your computer do the same thing? :hypo_h4h: Brian. 02-05-2005, 04:16 PM no, but most of them do. Brian. 02-10-2005, 08:00 PM i got it to take a pic.... http://img51.exs.cx/img51/6379/wmpdead0nz.gif treefalse 02-11-2005, 12:20 AM Hm... What year is your computer? I can see that the backround is normal, but moving things are messed. I also notice that the backround isn't as sharp as mine. Maby your moniter's messed. By the way; How do you get pictures like the way you did? I need to learn that... kewmat 02-11-2005, 10:32 AM I can see that the backround is normal, but moving things are messed. I also notice that the backround isn't as sharp as mine. Maby your moniter's messed. I would think that probably has more to do with his video card than his monitor. By the way; How do you get pictures like the way you did? I need to learn that... you mean to take an image of the screen? treefalse 02-11-2005, 11:32 AM Um, ya.... I need to learn more about this "Technology". Please, tell more. Brian. 02-11-2005, 04:17 PM "Print Scrn" Right above your Insert button, then past it in Paint. BTW its not that grainy on my PC, i dont know why it looks that way. treefalse 02-11-2005, 08:01 PM I have internet Explorer, so I don't know where the insert butten is! :idiot: Brian. 02-12-2005, 01:49 PM look on your keyboard, beside backspace and it dosent matter what browser you use. :mf_leprac treefalse 02-12-2005, 08:34 PM :g: Sometimes, when I right click, it shows the option of "Cast snapshot of page", but it needs to be a document... or sumething. Tried it and it took me to google. I have no clue what I'm doing what-so-ever. lukus001 02-17-2005, 07:31 PM It's grainy/wrong looking because you saved it as gif - gifs only have support for websafe colours aka 256 colours and therefore can't produce the 32bit colour spectrum which in otherwords means you are displaying the closest-to-value from the 256 colour pallet. With that said cause you saved as GIF i do not know if the screen output was exact or messed up due to the limited colours. if you are viewing a perfect negative then most likely you have enabled a negative - if it's screwed up like on the screen you have a corrupted codec or player or you're desktop isn't running on 32bit colours. also i've never been able to print video streams from a player before with "print screen" when ever i pase it into photoshop i get a black square and if any part of the black square is in the same possition where the video stream is... i get the video on photoshop. kewmat 02-18-2005, 09:05 AM also i've never been able to print video streams from a player before with "print screen" when ever i pase it into photoshop i get a black square and if any part of the black square is in the same possition where the video stream is... i get the video on photoshop. yeah, me too. it's really weird but cool. john 02-23-2005, 09:14 AM Did you purposely set video acceleration in Windows Media Player to none? Because that's the only way you can take screen shots of videos (I *believe*). In WMP go to "Tools" -> "Options" and click the "Performance" tab, and see where the slider is for "Video Acceleration." If it's at "none" try moving forward. If this doesn't work, then I really have no idea, that's pretty weird. Does this happen for all formats of videos or only the type you are viewing on that site? Brian. 02-26-2005, 08:45 PM it only happens in WMP, lately i have just been copying the link and opening it in "mplayer2" but i just found the Super Mario Bros Super Show and it wont let me copy the link *goes insane* Edit: BTW it is set on Full john 02-26-2005, 09:13 PM Wow that's very strange. It allows you to take a screen shot and video acceleration is at full? It might be a video driver problem, try updating your video card drivers. Brian. 02-26-2005, 09:19 PM yeah... i'll get right on that *hides in corner* lukus001 03-01-2005, 02:41 PM Update you;re windows media player codecs... Brian. 03-01-2005, 07:28 PM I updated the other day and it works now. dcp7777 03-13-2005, 07:26 PM No offense but congratulations yoky 03-27-2005, 01:45 PM i just want to know how to download videos and song and stuff im a computer illiterate fool who needs help :punk: keep rockin |
