Futureshop.ca recently had a deal on high quality DVD+R discs, so I figured I would get some (they offer free shipping so I wanted to take advantage of that too :D).
Futureshop is usually pretty quick to deliver things, since ship from a place only a couple hours from here. It usually takes 1 or 2 days. This time it took over a week.
The first thing I notice when the package arrive.. this box is big! Usually futureshop is cheap and uses the smallest box they can find, and use really cheap packing (A lot of times I have received DVDs in envelopes with no protective packaging, and the case smashed into pieces). This box has *tons* of packing inside. Very weird for futureshop...

I also notice, there is a huge gash in the box. I admit, it's fairly normal for delivery boxes to have scratches or gashes in them, but I could fit my entire hand into this one....

And now, this is the craziest thing of all. There is a red spot on my receipt that actually looks like a splash of blood. I can't even think of anything else this could have been.

This is the most bizzare package I've ever received.
Maybe next time I want some blank DVDs, I'll make the trip to the store ....
(I've burned a couple DVDs so far, and from what I can see, they work fine. I guess that's all that matters)
