Georgian luger skips over a wall on the last turn of the Olympic luge track and hits a steel pole at 88 mph. Guy died later in the day.

Luge tracks are getting faster and faster with every Olympic games, but even with safety concerns raised by the tragedy, the Olympic committee has decided to go ahead with the event.

Yeah...I've seen some pictures of that thing happening. Pretty sad but crazy how that happened.
