There's actually a fairly large number of Indians where I live even though my town is predominantly Italian/Polish and such. Anyone know why they seem fairly clustered in Chicago or maybe wherever you guys live?

I mean what I say; people from India. It kind of irritates me when Native Americans are referred to as Indians because that really isn't true and was a dumb mistake made by Christopher Columbus anyway.

I know a large group of Indian students who live near my college. They're pretty chill and usually very quiet. Although, I suppose it's easier to block out other conversations when you don't understand the language.

That language is amazing. I want to learn Hindi. But that would require effort.

I live in the Chicago area and one of the suburbs near me has the largest Arab population in the U.S., I believe. Several years ago they wanted to build a mosque in our town and there was a big uproar about it. So they ended up never building it.

Oh, and my sophomore year of high school there was this big "war" between the black people and the Arab people. There were tons of fights and shit, it was pretty sweet.

It was snowing this morning, and some of the first-year students from India (and California) were outside taking pictures. I find that awesome.

Fascination with things like that is always heartwarming to me.
