My school doesn't work that way and the security guards around my school don't do lots of shit other than tell you to just follow the rules. Then when they're not looking we go back to breaking them.

Wow...for theft? Seriously...your police probably have absolutely nothing to do if they have to go to school to arrest a kid for stealing stuff. The most that happens to students is the security guard takes them to the office and they either don't come back ever or come back after a while.
