Apparently this was shown at GDC09 which hints that the next MGS may have you playing as someone other than Snake, and it looks to be Raiden.

So will this new Metal Gear Solid game be a PS3 exclusive like MGS4, or will it see its way to the 360 and possibly PC too?

I recall Hideo Kojima saying MGS3 and MGS4 were the final ones at the time of their respective releases.

It would be foolish from a business perspective for them to end the series when it is so popular. They probably feel a though the fans would be fine with Raiden as the main protagonist now, which is likely true after the role he played in MGS4.
