You've got it all wrong Puppet. It's not that I hate Nintendo. I think they are a great company, and they have many classic games. It's that I think Sony is better. This has recently been because of the backwards compatibility though. I'll have a much harder time deciding what system to get this time around because they're all backwards compatible.

Sony and Nintendo were working on a cd based add-on for the SNES. i bet that's the one you were talking about.

and no, sony didnt steal the cd idea from nintendo. sony was asking to put thier cd creation as a add on to the nintendo system. nintendo wasnt sure of sony's true intentions so they backed out... one of the dumbest decisions they ever made.

This is really interesting stuff...Nintendo made several mistakes in that timeframe. Had they stuck with their initial project then, Nintendo would be the ONLY console existing, and the other game companies would be working under them. It would be a wonderful union, and we would be in the virtual reality gaming world by now.

Well, we are "hating" on nintendo, because it makes for the most part stupid Kiddy games, i bought a game cube, worst investment of my life, and another thing, most people that actually are hardcore fans of nintendo are little 13 year old kids who cant seem to type to save there lives, i mean "y u all be haten on nintendo" seriously dude......

im not sure any of those are actually MADE BY nintendo. and as for the nintendo and sony joining forces, that would only bring nintendo down. lets face it, sony and sucks go hand in hand. if nintendo and microsoft joined, it would be almost as monumental as jesus walking the earth again. if microsoft and macintosh joined together, words can even describe how amazing the would would be. microsoft has the gaming, only with a ****ty opperating system. apple has the most solid OS ever created, and apple compuers are god. if they made a gaming system that was released on the same day that jesus walked the earth, id stay home and play videogames.

I totally agree with you Puppet. I have all the game stations too and I love my nintendo! I love my X-BOX too, but I wouldn't have it if it weren't for the nintendo! Saga had the first cd gaming system before called Saga CD. And those other systems would have existed. Just because a system has simular caracteristics or technolagy doest mean they stole from an earlier system. And they would have started using CDs anyways.

P.S. PS2 and PSP still kicks Gamecubes and DS's ASSES!!!
