Why can't i post a Windows Media Audio file (WMA)?

i'll be a nice guy....it's what i do :P

convert .wma to .mp3
dbpoweramp (http://www.download.com/dBpowerAmp-Music-Converter/3000-2140-10042534.html?part=dl-dBpowerAm&subj=dl&tag=button)

and you'll need a wma codec for it
wma codec (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codecs/dBpowerAMP-codec-wmav91.exe)

i thought u had to rename it as [the file u wanna upload.wmv]

I don't understand why that would work if i had to rename an extension then the file i changed would be unusable, Example :- if i took my flash files and gave it the extension for photoshop that wouldn't work so i'm guessing it would be the same for audio files you would need to convert,edit or resample it not edit the name or extension.

Depends, file extension basically tells the system what program to open it with. I can open a .wmv saved as a .psd in realplayer if i wanted to.

However, if your double clicking a psd it'll open up photoshop andphotoshop can play videos...
