Ok, for those of you that have been keeping up with G4's coverage of E3, including their website, you probably have already seen this. For the rest of us, you can watch it here. I orignaly saw this on G4 where they stated that Sony claims this is actual game footage, no CG work or cut scene. When the G4 staff watched this they argued over it for a while because it just looks so great. What do you think? Is Sony lying?

The last one looked great also. Then it sucked more than a Hoover. However, it looks like they have learned their lesson. And if thats gameplay...PS3 rules...But I doubt it, seeing as their are no crosshairs on the guns, slow-mo part.

Oh my god. I was 90% sure that was all CG. That is *amazing* gameplay. The PS3 must be a freaking super computer if it can produce that in realtime.

er.. no, in different interview they asked the same question and the guy said that it WAS running off the systems "specs" ... so thats good enough for me, i dont care that that video might not be off a a actual disk that is inside the machine, if it is running up to spec that means that the ps3 can put that out, and the game is in development.. they wont just come out and say... YES THIS IS ACTUAL GAME PLAY FOOTAGE and then it really not be, that would be a huge deal to lots of people... and i never recall them saying the ps2 could do anything better then it could then it happend to be a lie.

actualy buddy its not running off the system cause at the time of the video they hadnt run the system ova 20% and anyway it was running off a comp plus that wouldnt matter cause no one was actualy playing it so they coulda recorded a scripted play and prerendered it.

u obviosly dont know sonys track record, i have yet to see a system they have not lied about. they even announced that all the launch games for the psp only run at 50% power. and they said they were running off system specs wich is confusing cause y didnt they make all the tech demos look as good. yes the ducki 1 did look good but nothing campared to that great prerender of kill zone.

of course its CG...it was generated by a computer. the only thing is that it was pre rendered...if it was actual gameplay, you would expect to have a crosshair...oh yea, were talking about sony, they probably would leave out crosshairs. but seriously, high fives for sony. they can make pre rendered videos that look pretty good. thats no real accomplishment, as far as raw processing power goes, yes ps3 is more powerful than xbox360. but realisticaly, xbox 360 will outprefor ps3 by far.

I've seen multiple times on G4 TV where Sony AND Killzone reps have said that is actually thein game engine working. It's in game gameplay. Now the reason for no crosshair?? They may be turned off, AND this is probably scripted. They probably scripted the scene, started it up, and captured everything. The PS3 is supposed to have a GPU capable of something lilke 3x more power than the 360, and 300 something more than the PS2. Now given that the PS3 will be running on a 3gHz processor, all of which being deveoted to the game at hand, plus the Nvidia GPU that is supposed to be so much more powerful...I can't see why this isn't real. If the officials say it's real...then it is until someone can prove it isn't. I'm hearing all of this..."i's fake becuase they lie" or "it's fake becuase I don't think they can really look that good". We'll you don't have a PS3 development kit, and they do. if they say the system can do this, and this is the real gameplay...then as far as we know...it is. If they end up being liars, then just punish them by not buying the game. I highly doubt they're lying. If they are, the entire gaming community will be pissed, and may opt for a 360 instead, or get a ps3 but not buy the game. So it's economically dumb to lie about this.

there is no point to continue this discussion, when the company that created this game already have admitted it is a CG on IGN.
