I just need an agreement here. Sam being banned for his images turning to total smut was unjust. I understand that as a moderator it is your responsibility to moderate content and filter out any of it that is legitimately inappropriate.

However. I do support the punishment of intentional inappropriate posts and especially the event on Friday (it was in fact Friday correct?) however I do think it unnecessary to ban active members to prove a point. It was on part of the guilty, a stupid decision.

I am confident that Gprime, as a community (of sorts) can learn from this and move on, leaving the act of testing the rules behind. If any one of the banned members are unbanned, the moment I am notified, I personally will link them to this thread so please, let the idiots back in.

They did it because they wanted to leave. We're (okay, I can only speak for myself here, but I'm just guessing they'll agree) getting sick of those members who actually deserve a ban, but haven't gotten one, so instead, removed ourselves from the annoying environment.

The only person who immediately comes to mind is Gabby. I don't say this with anything personal behind it, Even if we've had our share of squabbles. He has grown ruder and ruder over time, and it's gotten extreme. It's like he can't disagree with someone calmly, he has to get defensive and blow things out of proportion, and many people get involved, tempers rise, and we all walk away pissed off.

And even though it's a single person, he has a huge negative effect here. One of the first things I think of when I'm headed to the forums is "Ugh, who's he flaming now?" and I think there's been a large amount of harm done by the aftermath of many of his arguments. I mean, it's half the reason I want to mostly quit here, besides updates.

I don't know if anyone besides me has as big of a problem with him, but that's ^ what I have to say.

Agreed. I can't think of anyone else who remotely deserves a ban.

Funny how last summer Napalm posted scarring murder/suicide pictures and got off with a warning, and now someone saying /facepalm gets tempbanned.
