lol, bagelhead you fool!

you sent us a deflated, non-indexed, 343kb piece of crap!

If you're not a tech, that means the file was missing an extension. It needs a ".ppt" or a ".doc" at the end of it, which the upload is missing.

EVERYONE READ THIS,
you MUST rename the file "the story of something.ppt" instead of "the story of something", or it will not play.

1) extract it somewhere (this is required to rename it)
2) find and right-click it, then click "rename"
3) type "[anything].ppt"

I did, and it worked just fine.

LOL, Dr. Evil cuts off bob's head!

If you don't want to buy MS Office, you can download OpenOffice.org from.. www.openoffice.org (who would have figured?). But (take no offense!) it isn't really worth the download.

I'm not sure if people will want to watch your animation in power point.. but they.. that's just me.

... Interesting ... story ... though.

Well, for whatever reason, the file you sent us didn't have the ".ppt" at the end that tells your computer that it's a powerpoint presentation, and ".ppt" will not upload on GPrime. You'll need to zip it like I did with this (http://gprime.net/board/showthread.php?p=12796#post12796) mp3 to get it to work.

So here is an easy guide of what to do:
1) get into the folder that the file is in.
2) right click on the powerpoint file,
-Mouse over "send to", and click "compressed (zipped) folder".
-You will notice another file that got created in the same folder.
3) Go back to the top of this tread and click on the "EDIT" button at the bottom of your first post.
4) Click "manage attatchments".
5) Get rid of the first attatchment you had on that post.
6) Click "browse"
7) This time, locate the powerpoint, but instead of uploading it, upload the new Zipped folder that has the same name as your powerpoint.
8) Upload it, and complete the post edit.

That should make it work.
