Probably not. The show isn't that great thus far. It's basically 80's dialogue/acting paired with a more real-ish subject matter.

The main character is alright but her best friends need to die.

The main character's boyfriend is also alright, but his best friends need to die.

The "bad boy" is fine enough, but his girlfriend needs to die.

The "Christian" characters all should die slow, painful deaths... Except the one with Downs Syndrome. He's pretty cool actually. I don't mean that in a cruel way.

The school counselor should die, because he gives crap advice.

The main character's family should die as well... they're all incompetent stereotypes. Especially the sister.

In fact, this show has more a feel of some educational movie you would show to a bunch of elementary school kids. It's not really a smart or edgy show in any way shape or form. At least not thus far. But then again, I've only seen two episodes.

From the promos, it really sounded like I missed out on a lot. Being a teen in America looks awesome. Being a teen in Canada was like, meh.

You know what I really hate are crappy TV shows about lesbians. South Of Nowhere is complete shit (they killed off the only good character after one season) and The L Word is just glorified porn. I'll watch Ellen any day, at least she's somewhat funny...

Not any really. I search facepalm, or failure as the case may be, click on the first one I like, and use it. I think the longest I have ever spent is like, 5 minutes when I found a whole sites worth of really good ones, including ones that were pr0ntastic. ;D
