Guess I was doing a little to well, because the enemy had to call in a DPV on my position so it could crush me, just so I could die.

What is Desert Combat?

Desert Combat was a mod for battlefield 1942 that was like BF2 but better. Its where EA got the Idea for a modern combat followup. It had cooler weapons and vehicles,

like a AH-6, with 2 miniguns and 2 rocket pods.

Of course the 1942 engine looks like shit, so Desert combat can't compare to BF2 graphically, but it was still better.

yeah right. i still play that game like weekly with my friends. there is still hundreds of servers going.
The games a classic, itll never have people not playing it

I wish the same thing went for Wolf ET. Almost half of all the servers are, like, completely abandoned.
