The PSP is an awsome product, but make sure you buy a protective case. I made the mistake of using the case that just came with the value pack...well, i had it in my knee pocket and it broke the LCD screen. So spend the extra $15 and get a hard case, not the flimsy one they give you otherwise you'll find yourself owning a $250 peice of crap and spending another $250 for another one because you can't live without it after you've had it.

I could live without a sony product i love nintendo i have every nintendo system and handheld exept the Virtual Boy (Big Flop) (got DS on the weekend) and my brother has the PS1, PS2 and the PSP

Nintendo is great, don't get me wrong. They were the first big video game makers...but they're slacking. The gameboy is done. It can't compete on any level to the PSP. Graphics, Games, Wireless Network? The PS2 was way better than the game cube also. For the same reasons, except the wireless part. I love Nintendo, but i'm just saying, they need to step it up unless they want to turn into the next Sega.

First off, they have created a massive fan base, they created gaming as it is today, and paved the way for other companies like Sony to jump into the gaming buisness. Second. You never really asked a question. What do you mean Sony or Nintendo? The brand? The companies? If you are asking which company is best then Nintendo hands down wholey because of their iconic past. Sony is the new guy and is winning. I even admit to wanting a PS3 over the "Revolution". Nintendo is great in certain areas and they are weakening in certain areas. Unless the change some of their odd policies on things like online play and what 3rd party games they "don't want on their systems" then they will continue to fall behind the rest of the game (if you even want to compare systems like that).

I have both the ps2 and the game cube...the ps2 by far worse than the gamecube i am not biest...the gamecube has really great games like tales of symphonia and metroid...The only games that are going for the ps2 are GTA and final fantasy. And besides the GTA games only go to the Xbox so its not much for the ps2!AND the ps2 has a large library of games but how many are acually bought and played!? :yinyang:

I have to say that you have to start learning how to respect other's opinions. If one likes sony over nintendo or nintendo over sony, so be it. You also need to learn how to weigh the two sides out before making a judgement. I don't really see the need to curse at all or anything like that, but I think that this thread is not about the poll itself but rather a arguement in which you want to "win". I for one like the company sony over nintendo, but prefer nintendo games over sony (referring to company in general, not ds versus psp). I pretty much just like sony because of their large amounts of games they produce, offering a wide variety and since sony games' prices fall quicker (in my opinion of course); Nintendo has different discs as well, idk if they changed it in the revolution or not, making the games original price last longer for the discs are unique and cost more money most-likely. I definately prefer the nintendo games with mario, star fox, etc. Those games will never get old for me as they are very entertaining and have a great replay value. If only nintendo has a larger market of games, that would make them the better company of the two in my views. However, I'm probably going to buy the ps3 if it gets as low as 200 bucks or so. If it doesnt get lower than 200, than i'll get the revolution.

A little recap :
1. Learn to respect opinions and consider both sides ( I didnt do well on that part mainly because I only care about the games and their "fun" ratings and the amount of games available, not about disc space and graphics and stuff like that, which i dont understand)
2. sony is better company ( in large part due to fact that they are more successful. Im not saying that nintendo isnt successful, because they are. Just saying sony is more successful)
3. nintendo has better games (and more games that fit into that category tahn sony), but a smaller library for me
4. dont know if psp or ds better since i never played them so i will not say anything on that subject

Everything that I put in bold is incorrect. Nintendo has not said anything about the Revolutions graphics, the PS3 will be a better system, the PSP can play old Nintendo games, it's called an emulator, and the DS has really bad graphics, v.s. the PSPs almost as bad graphics.

PSP is soooooooooo much better than ds. all you nintendo lovers. accept it. it will be hard, i know that. I used 2 love nintendo and bought a nintendo ds the day it was released. After owning it for a month, I sold it and lost over €100. Buying that console was the biggest mistake of my life. Its absoloutely awful. The console is crap. Once you get past the touch screen, you realise that there is no more than one good game for it. Thats Mario 64. You collapse in agony, having trusted nintendo yet again with your hard earned cash.

My answer is that I love my PSP. I sleep with it at night.


NOOBS I have both a PSP and a DS and they are both great.

If you are looking for a system with very original games choose the ds.
If you are looking for a system with the best graphics choose the PSP.
If you are looking for a system with the best media functions choose the psp.
If you are looking for a system with the cheaper price tag choose DS.
If you are looking for a system with the best FPS games choose the DS.

I couldn't choose between them and I still can't, they both are excellent

"evolved" it to ps2.
without nintendo no psone or ps2 or ps3.
nintendo = geniuses

Get your facts straight. First off the PS1 was not originally the Super Nintendo CD. Another thing you should know, the PSP's processor could run laps around the DS', creating better looking games. The PSP also features a higher resolution screen displaying sharper images.

Honestly though, I dislike both systems.
