If you thought pumping gas was expensive enough!!!!!!!

STOP YELLING!!!!

I saw what caused this on an episode of Mythbusters (http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/mythbusters/mythbusters.html) one time. It was interesting. The static shocks the gas vapors in the air, causing it to ignite. Touch the outside of your car after getting out of it before you touch the pump to releece the static.

Im not yelling "THIS IS YELLING" AHHHHHHHHH but ya i never knew you could do that to your gas pump.

That's just scary. I'll add that to the list of reasons why I don't drive.

nowadays they have put in metal "static reducers" to help those kinda people out.
