I finally found out what band my uncle plays in. Apparantly he was their lead vocalist / guitarist, and I was wondering what you thought of them. I haven\'t listened to them yet. He says one of his songs was in the top 50 for 2 weeks.

Your Uncle is either lying, or played in a band that I can't find any information on.
Edit: Maybe "The Edsels", and the song he refers to is "Rama Lama Ding Dong". Thats the only thing I could find though, and I can't get much on that. (This doesn't seem likely though.)
