I had an article prepared on why even though we all enjoy watching them, anime sucks. But I think I'll save that for next week. This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWe7wTVbLUU) is a lot more pertinent. Honestly, I think Obama has a snowball's chance in hell of winning the election. But he is quickly being embraced as MLK jr incarnate. Press have already dubbed it the greatest speech ever made by a modern day politician (well, except for Murdoch's mouthpiece/asshole aka Fox News. But really, it just wouldn't be right any other way). And beyond that, it is something that is desperately true. Everyone; black, white, American or otherwise should watch it in it's entirety. Several times.

P.S. Did anyone happen to see O'Reily the other night trying to take credit for the speech? A speech he openly criticized moments later? Lulz

Seriously, though, that was an amazing speech. Personally, I think he has more like an Eskimo's chance in hell than a snowball's but I do hope he wins. If not, at least let it be McCain.

EDIT: O'Reilly's a dipshit. I've never seen a man more full of shit than him.

Obama is the only candidate in the running who deserves to be the president of America in the slightest.

McCain's a smart guy, I think if he won we'd be in good hands. He knows where it's at. But all in all, I think Obama would make a lot of changes that we need.

Wat. Explain, I think you're dead wrong.

Looking into it, I take back what I said about Obama's eskimo's chance in hell. He's winning a lot of superdelegates and other major indicators are pointing to his success. If you ask me, it's going to be neck-and-neck between him and McCain like it was four years ago with Bush and Kerry.

I don't mean to sound like a conspiracy nut, but the average white voter may vote for Obama now, but by the time November comes around, they might decide that Obama's too much change, if you catch my drift.

Na, I keed.

I think he's only picking up more support as Hillary makes more and more mistakes and people start to see right through her.

Way to republican on all civil issues, McCain is.

Make a coherent post, you haven't

Retarded, you are.

I'm saying McCain is way to conservitist on all liberal issues. Basically, he is a jack ass. The kind of Christian that makes me hate organized religion.

WTF? McCain has said just as much about his religion as Obama has

gabrielwhist

I'm saying his views mirror those of the absolute worst kinds of Christians. That all his policies are the extremely conservative nutbag Christian values. Like, the way he doesn't believe in gay rights. Due to, lets guess, oh wait we don't have to, his insane religious values.

It's not that he doesn't believe in gay rights. It's that he doesn't support them as proposed.

Right, it's not that he doesn't want gays and straights equal, he just wants straights a little more equal.

We just need all legal references to opposite sex to include same-sex. Trying to argue for anything different is just plain retarded.

But, I really don't think McCain is bad at all compared to most republicans.

McCain voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment, arguing that each state should be able to choose whether to recognize same-sex marriage.[74][75] He supported the failed 2006 Arizona initiative to ban gay marriage.[76]
He believes that the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy should remain in place, citing reports from military leaders that "this policy ought to be continued because it's working."[77]
When asked if he supported civil unions of homosexuals, McCain said: "I do not."[78]

EDIT

Thats just copy pasted from Wikipedia, I'm to lazy to find the other sources I've read. He's a major assfucker guys. He also doesn't support abortion, and does support educational vouchers. Which, while they may seem fair, as we all know, just fuck over the public schools.

So... he's a conservative, just like the other 50% of America, big deal??? The controversial matters like gay marriage and abortion SHOULD be left up to the states, otherwise you're going to get states like Kansas really pissed off.

Forgive me for assuming you used the correct form of the word 'too', which you didn't.

Anyway, he isn't nearly as bad as Huckabee as far as going on 'insane religious values'. McCain is probably one of the more liberal republicans anyway.

It's like TPS said: he's not the only person in the world that doesn't support abortion. He just happens to be on his way to becoming the president. Nobody's 'right' or 'wrong' as far as abortion goes, so not supporting abortion isn't a bad thing, it just isn't what you agree with. I'm not being picky, but I wouldn't add that to the list of reasons people shouldn't vote for him. It's about the same with gay marriage, but I'm for it, so whatever.

If McCain got into office, I think he would pull a Regan: he would speed up the economy and improve international relations, but his domestic policies would piss off a lot of liberals.

1.) It is wrong to prevent a women from having an abortion. It should legally be her choice. And would you really rather she use a rusty hanger?
2.) Gay marriage is constitutional. It is not a choice that should be made by states, it should be legal, everywhere. Irrevocably. Sorry for not wanting yet another president that doesn't follow the guidelines set by our founding fathers.

TPS: He also supported a ban of gay marriage, and doesn't even believe they should be allowed to have civil unions. Retarded Republican cock sucker? I think so.

I don't think so. And even if there were, that wouldn't make McCain any less of one.
